The Roleplay of the Week (August 16th, 2010)

Welcome to the Ouran High School Host Club, where every girl who has way too much time on their hands are entertained by handsome boys with also way too much time on their hands. At the prestigious Ouran Academy, the purpose of the Ouran Host Club is to make sure every girl is happy, and the boys of the Host Club certainly make sure of it.

This literate roleplay based on the popular anime series Ouran High School Host Club (OHSHC) was created by Sam- Knight of Darkness. It's full of romance, shonen-ai, kidnapping, and friendship. I should know! I play the mischievous twins Hikaru and Kaoru Hiitachin as well as the Host Club's King and princely type, Tamaki Suoh.

Irako of the Desert: Why did you create the Ouran High School Host Club RP? What was the inspiration behind it?

Sam- Knight of Darkness: I made a role play like this elsewhere, but it had started to die off a little. I just wanted to role play Ouran because it's one of my favourite anime, ahaha~ So, I put it here![

IotD: What is your impression of the other characters and the people behind them?

S- KoD: I was pretty excited about everyone! I didn't know what to expect because I don't role play as much with the role players of the Burn guild as I do in other guilds. We're missing a few canon characters, but we seem to be going along just fine without them! As for the non-canon characters, they all had extremely interesting stories and role playing with everyone has been so awesome.

IotD: What events have taken place so far in the RP's storyline? This includes events that have happened as you have roleplayed.

S- KoD: We have had a couple of small plot lines, involving problems with some of the hosts. In all honesty, this role play never had a specific plot line. I just threw in the Host Club, new hosts, and guests into it and we role played what happened. It was a lot of improvisation. One plot twist we're developing right now involves one of my characters, Amy, a girl whose past has been a mystery for the past few months. Only now does she begin to start piecing things together. Another girl has been kidnapped by a male from Amy's past and now she and some of the hosts have gone to London to rescue the girl. I'm rather excited with how this shall turn out.

IotD: What do you like most about the OHSHC RP?

S- KoD: I like all of it, aha! I don't know what to single out in particular. Especially now, there's tons of excitement to me as we develop the story. I like coming online to see what my fellow role players have to offer!

IotD: Is there anything else you want to say about this RP of yours?

S- KoD: I've kinda covered most of it! This role play is just a lot of fun to me and even to those who don't want to join up, they might have some interest in reading it as well!
