Entry #12: Our First Football Game
This is Fluffy signing in.

Hi, Hi, Hiya! ~♪ how y’all doin today? I hope you’re all doing awesomely awesome! mrgreen this is my twelfth entry! Woo! whee

This actually an entry bout yesterday (in other words, I’m not gonna put a date and time on this). I just didn’t have time to post it last night... heh... sweatdrop I typed it up last night on Microsoft Word, I just forgot to enter it in. now with that out of the way, let’s get to the entry now, shall we? 3nodding

I woke up reeeeeeally late today. I was feeling kinda sick today and my allergies were acting up a bit, so I didn’t wear my contacts. During all this rushing to get ready, I realized that it was Friday! ~♪ 4laugh today was also our first football game at school! WHOOHOO!!! xd I wore my flute-section spirit shirt, khaki-style jean shorts, my pendant and my earrings.

It was getting really late now, so I had no time for breakfast. I quickly put on my usual blue sneakers, grabbed my bags and power-walked to the bus stop.

Adam wasn’t on the bus this morning for some reason. My friend Kristina sat next to me instead. We talked about the football game tonight! We were really looking forward to it! 4laugh

Once I got to school, I headed towards the band room to meet up with the colorgaurd as usual. Once I got there, I saw Adam with Chelsea, so that meant he got a ride to school. That’s good biggrin I was worried that he missed the buss this morning. After some hanging out with the gaurdos, it was time to head to Algebra 3.

There was a test in Algebra today. There were only 3 questions, but they were worth about 20-40 points each! eek In each problem, we had to solve a system of equations by using a different method for each problem. In the first problem, we had to use substitution method. In the second problem, it was elimination method. In the last problem, we had to use Cramer’s Rule. I almost messed up on the last one! It’s a good thing I double-checked my work! Phew! sweatdrop Remember, it’s always a good thing to double-check or even triple-check your work! mrgreen

In homeroom, we had doughnuts!!! WHEEEEEE! SUGARNESS!!! rofl I picked out a doughnut with chocolate frosting, of course! biggrin For the rest of homeroom, we all just kept nomming on our doughnuts while listening *coughignoringcough* to the morning announcements.

Filipino was pretty awesome! biggrin more Diyalogos were preformed today, including ours! Most of them are really funny! xd we also went over a worksheet and answered the questions on it in Filipino.

(btw: this is about when I had to cut off this entry cuz it was really late at night when I started it. I resumed this entry on 9/19/2010. My memory gets kinda fuzzy at this point, so I might leave out a few details.)

Then it was time for lunch. I hung around with my friends in our usual spot before I went to go buy lunch. Once the lunch line died down, I went to go buy my lunch; I came back with a cheese pizza. I ate all of it except for the crust (yes, I am one of those people how will eat pizza, but avoid the crust stare . I only eat the crust when I’m feeling really hungry). Nothing much happened during lunch. we just talked about random things and spazzed for no reason 3nodding . We also talked about tonight’s football game! (even though only me, Adam, Melinda, Sarah, and Megan are in marching band xp )

Then it was time to head to band! We went over our show for tonight’s football game. We were all very excited for it! 4laugh

Then it was time to head over to APEC. I was a little nervous cuz we had an exam today! AHHHHHHH!!!!! burning_eyes Mr. Casas had to separate the class to make sure none of us cheat (Teachers call it “Cheating”. We call it “Teamwork”! rofl ). Once I finished the test, Mr. Casas took it and held it up in front of a camera on his computer (I think it’s something called a GradeCam). The camera took a picture of my test and my answers appeared on the computer. It showed me which ones were right and which ones were wrong. I didn’t do too well on the test... but at least I passed! Hehehe... sweatdrop For the rest of the period, we watched a video about the Medici; a wealthy family during the Renaissance.

Once school was over, it was time to go to rehearsal for the game tonight. We would be starting the beginning of the first movement then ending at the end of the first half of the second movement. We would have to use the metronome though... we aren’t ready to take the metronome off our show yet.

After rehearsal ended, my older sister had to come pick me up. She was gonna watch the game tonight! Yays! ^o^~♪ once I got home, I had a small amount of time to get changed into proper clothes and eat dinner. I was halfway done with my microwave dinner of spaghetti with meatsauce when I realized that it was getting kinda late. My sister (btw, her name is May, but I’m Filipino so I have to call her Ate May) drove to the parking lot closest to the band room and dropped me off.

Once I got in the band room, it was time for everyone to start getting into their marching uniforms! -sniff- It feels like forever since I’ve worn mine! TT^TT Our uniforms are a black overalls and a black bolero-style jacket with a white and gold stripe on it. Our shakos (marching hats) are black with a Westview logo on it and a black and gold plume (the feathery things that go on top of the shakos). Once we all got changed, we headed to the football stadium.

We played a little bit of our march after we got the stadium. After that, we sat up in the stands. We would play some pep tunes and play our fight song when our football team made a touchdown. When we aren’t playing music, we’re usually just goofing off and being silly while trying to stay professional (pffft... professional my butt! I don’t care if we I look stupid, I wanna have fun! blaugh ).

Once it was almost half-time, the band headed to this area a little distance from the field.

[this entry was resumed once again on 9/20/2010]

Then the announcer dude introduced the band and we made our way onto the field! We stayed in our assigned spots while we waited for our conductor to get ready. Once she stepped onto the podium and we heard 8 clicks from the metronome, we began our show! 4laugh Ya know, when you’re down on the field performing the show, it feels like you could just blink and BAM!!! the show is done! After we finished, we went back into the stands and goofed off some more.

Finally the game ended (our team lost... sad but good job to all those football players out there! biggrin ) and we marched back to the band room to get out of our uniforms. My sister hugged me said that we did a very good job! blaugh After I got out of my uniform and hung it up on the racks, my sister drove me home.

I didn’t do much once I got home. Just a shower and a little bit of computer. After that I went to sleepsies. Well, I guess that’s it for this entry! Buh-bai my lovelies! ~♪
