Wolf Takes His Family Home

"Ha, got you to laugh," Wolf said as Larkin chuckled. "Albeit disturbing because of no lower jaw...and I think a bit of missing trachea."

"Knock it off, Dad," Larkin said, swatting Wolf's hand away from the mask she wore to hide her injuries caused by the Nogard of another dimension. "You KNOW I don't like--MOM!"

Wolf had been focusing on Larkin that he was at first confused by Larkin's statement. Looking around, he saw a battered and bloodied Shalimar collapsed on the front porch. "SHAL!"

Bounding forward, Wolf reached Shalimar before Larkin. "Shal? Shal, sweety, talk to me. Please talk to me. Say something, anything!"

"Yma gugd," Shalimar slurred, slipping back into dragon language.

"What? I don't--" Wolf started to say. Glancing at Larkin, he saw she was a lighter shade of gold. "What? What did she say?"

Looking at Wolf with a widened eye, Larkin said, "The baby."

Instantly processing this, Wolf said, "Shal? Shalimar, honey, you need to listen to me. You need to transform into your feline form. It's the only way I can save you. Please transform, honey."

With a low groan, Shalimar slowly transformed into her orange tabby cat form.

"Attagirl," Wolf said, stroking Shalimar. Looking at Larkin, he said, "Lar, I need you to transform into your wolf form--"

Larkin started to say, "I don't have a wo--"

"Do as I do," Wolf said, transforming into his black wolf form. "You have dragon in you and you have neko. Now is the time to explore your wolf side."

Larkin slowly transformed into a golden wolf. Surprisingly, the wolf still had it's lower jaw, but was still missing its left eye. Its muzzle and throat were covered in scars.

Recognizing the look of surprise on Larkin's face when she realized she still had a lower jaw in wolf form, Wolf said, "Pick up your mother and follow me. But be gentle--her life is in the balance right now."

"Follow me," Wolf said, heading for the ground floor transporter that he had secretly installed a few weeks ago. "Do not make eye contact with anyone. Stay even somewhere between my shoulder and my flank but do not fall behind. And do not set your mother down for any reason."

Stepping on the transporter and motioning for Larkin to join him, Wolf activated the device--which instantly deposited them in an evergreen forest. Sitting back on his haunches, Wolf let loose a long wailing howl. Within moments, several howls joined in with his.

"This way," Wolf said after winding down his howl. "We're expected."

Stepping through the portal, Wynn found herself in a large lobby. Twitching her ears, Wynn froze as the portal closed behind her. Suddenly, there was a loud squeal and Wynn was suddenly tackled from behind by something using the power of wind to speed up its running. Snarling, Wynn twisted about and bit/scratched/tore at her attacker.

Just as she tore off the attacker's arm, Wynn saw it was Kaku. Still bristled at the unexpected glomp, Wynn slowly backed away from Kaku on all fours, trailing his arm in her mouth and growling.

Fun times

Once Queen Minnie had left the room, Nogard rushed forward and picked Dragon up by her throat and slammed her against a wall. "Seriously! I really ought to kill you right now! We just got out of one scrape and you find yourself in the middle of another one!!"

"It's not like I CHOSE to get captured!" Dragon said. "Xangord's former employers mistook me for her thanks to grandfather's boss telling me I had to pretend to be her!"

"Put her down, Nogard," Xangord sighed. "Killing her is not going to help figure out how the Organization returned."

As Nogard set her down, Dragon said, "That reminds me, this lovely little neck piece on the back of my neck is for you from your friend...Vexen was it? You're welcome to have it if you would be so kind as to remove it."

"That's okay," Xangord said. "For now, let's return home so we can--"

"Xangord...," someone said from the doorway.

Turning to look, Dragon saw Riku, Sora, and Kairi.

Setting Out to Rebuild Nissa, 2

"I really don't like this getup," n** said, plucking at her neck ruffle. "And we have to take that ugly thing?"

n** pointed at a ship called the Crystal Maru that Ikkit had told them they would find just north of the Durem Graveyard.

"I don't like it any better than you do," Broden grumbled, floating alongside n**. "I have to be reduced to this tiny form. But it's the only way we can freely move about on Homentashen."

Boarding the ship, n** said, "If this thing explodes, I blame you."

"I'll blame me too," Broden replied.

----

Despite the Crystal Maru looking like it would fall apart at the slightest breeze (much less explode while traveling through space), the ship held up for the journey to Homentashen. Landing the ship with ease, n** groaned.

"What?" Broden asked.

"They're ALL like this!" n** replied, pointing out the front window.

Looking through the main window, Broden saw that n** was right--the denizens of Homentashen appeared to be much the same as n** and himself. "Hell...well let's just get this over with so we can get out of here. Where's the warehouse?"

"East of here," n** said, consulting a map pinned to the back wall of the cabin. Grabbing an antique looking gun from next to the pilot seat, n** said, "Let's go. The map says it's in a troubled part of town."

First off- i like wolfies!
Kyrre
I don't.

I don't care. I do. All of em!

Wynn, that's not the way to greet your father. At least, I'm fairly certain it's not.

I wonder what Nogard and Xangord are forced to wear in Queen Minnie's Castle... Then again, I shudder to think what I'd have to wear, too... and...
SQUEE! Can't wait to see Riku's expression on seeing Xangord again. Was she hiding from him on purpose? Brat.

I happen to like steampunk. I think I will change the Royal Guards' uniforms to steampunk-esque things.
Warehouse 13? Oh they're in trouble now! Don't. Touch. Anything. Where's the backup purple goo???
