One of our puppy dogs is really sick. She has Hock Fever, which is an incurable disease that only Shar Pei get. This morning, she couldn't even stand up. She's been to the vet 3 times in the last week and a half, but she seems to just be getting worse.
We took her to the doctor this morning and I was sure that they would have to put her down, but the vet wanted to give her IV fluids and see what happened. So she's been at the vet all day. Not sure when we're picking her up. I'm anxious to hear how she's doing, although I'm not terribly optimistic. She's pushing 10 years old, and that's pretty old for a Shar Pei. We're just hoping for the best and bracing for the worst.
