And I've been far too busy the last couple of days (in my opinion, anyway). I suppose I should mention before I forget that I got myself lost driving to band on Thursday night. I took a wrong turn off the roundabout and ended up on a one-way street out to a bunch of country roads. It was very scenic, but it took me twenty minutes to get back to a road I knew, making me late to band.

Then on Friday, I had a webinar and then went to gather information at a Veteran's Day Celebration. I asked someone if they needed any help, and I ended up being put at a table serving food. I had no knife to cut the cake, so I used plastic forks. My cake pieces were...rather abstract, to say the least. It seemed like a pretty good event, but it was hot and super windy, and some of the tents blew over. They had to call an ambulance because one of the flying tents hit someone, I guess. Hope they were okay.

I just wanted to take a shower and a nap when I got home, but my sister and her boyfriend wanted to go to the grocery store, so we did. And then we ended up watching Alice in Wonderland. I liked it better this time around. The subtitles helped a lot with all of the crazy made-up words.

Today I ate breakfast at Panera and visited my sister, who was working, and then went to volunteer at the CSA. Then I came back and did laundry and some other general catching-up. I was looking forward to having a day off tomorrow, but Coleen called and wanted to have a meeting tomorrow to plan for a Green Hat Ladies meeting, so...sigh.
