Life of Faith~
Whateva pops into meh head =D
She slowly and calmly strolled into the place that had become her second home. Three years prior she made the same walk for the very first time as a gangly, timid middle-schooler: oh, how everything changes! From appearances to knowledge and wisdom, most all was different for her now. There was only one thing that stayed constant her entire time: the pool. There was nothing that this oasis could not comfort her in. Aside from refreshing on hot California days, this body of water, her body of water, could turn even the most horrific days into a great day to be alive.

The deck was essentially empty: she'd always been the first girl out there. Walking over to the benches had always given her a sense of pride: she knew she had a slim body and didn't mind showing it off. She gracefully crossed the grass onto the burning concrete without showing the slightest hint of discomfort. She could hear the others shouting and giggling far back, but their screeches and judgement would fade soon enough.

Once she reached the the opposite end, she began her ritual. She stretched her legs a little bit and loosened her arms up before painfully attempting to cap herself (three years did not successfully teach her how to do this properly herself). She placed her goggles over her eyes and fastened the strap behind her head.

Standing at the edge of the pool, she took a final look around the deck: still alone. She took a few steps back and drew a quick breath; she dashed toward rebirth's refreshing embrace. Her right foot hugged the fringe separating her dream world and reality: her bent knees extended to their fullest, sending her sailing through the air
