I just realized something: My last job taught me something valuable... you CAN do something you love and allow yourself to be paid for it. Sometimes the services you provide out of the goodness of your heart actually ARE something people are willing to pay for as long as they are of high quality.

I've always had trouble with the thought that work could be fun. I was only at my job for 6 weeks, but I loved it and was good at it. To top it off, I got paid top dollar. People appreciated my kindness and care to detail. It's odd to think that it's taken me a few weeks after being let go to realize such a thing. So, what to do with this new found knowledge? USE IT!

I am going to be starting to use my etsy site in a more professional way... meaning that it'll become one of my main sources of income. I'll begin with making even higher quality items than I already make... necklaces and Kemetic prayer beads among those items. I've always had issues with making necklaces and giving them away because I see how happy they make people.... but my old job taught me that it's okay to get paid. I know that this is a rather random blurb, but it's all going around and around in my head. What better way to get it out than to write it down?

Anyway, I really like being able to think this way. I'm sure it'll get easier with time, but I promise to ALWAYS price fairly based on the quality and price of the supplies I use. I really REALLY appreciate everyone who supports me in this endeavor.
