Failed attempts of writing ;D
Angel Tears.
I caught my mom looking at the window
Tears glistening in her eyes.
For every drop of rain that touched the grass
Another tear fell from my mom's cheeks.

I asked her why she was crying at the rain,
But she said,
"Honey, that's not rain,
But angel tears."

"Everytime someone dies, the angels' hearts break.
But they can't cry, because these tears would flood the Earth.
So they hold it in, for months, until they can't hold no more.
Then, the tears pour down, these angel tears."

I looked again at the window
And these drops of rain no longer seemed like
Innocent drops of precipitation,
No, each drop held the life of a person.

So many drops, so much tears,
So many lives that have ended.
I broke down crying,
Crying for these angel tears.

So we sat together, Mom and I,
And wept our own angel tears.
We sobbed at every tear-drop
That splattered to the cold, gray ground.

My mom died two years later,
And at the funeral, the sun shined brightly.
I looked at the sky, and I swear,
I saw angels holding those tears in.

How sad for these angels,
That they couldn't even mourn,
In fear of hurting others,
How sad.

"Cry, angels," I whispered.
"Let your sorrow out."
That night, I lay in bed,
Numb, alone, and sorrowful.

I couldn't sleep until I heard the sound,
The murmuring pitter-patter,
The mourning sounds,
Of angel tears.

I walked to the window,
Finally at peace,
And looking at these drops,
I wept my own Angel Tears.

[Might write a story on this too(: Came to me while I was walking to class in the rain.]
