Dia de los Muertos
Today we shall dance and sing
Celebrating friends and family passed,
Offering up sugar skulls and marigolds
To those of our ancestors at rest
Paint our faces in oranges and pinks,
Place shrouds around the graves,
Today we honor those blessed dead
Responsible for our ways.
