Rules I live by 3nodding
-First. Use OOC when not in character. OOC if used with ((Hey)), (Hi), [[Hola]], or even: OOC: Hey, what's up?: It just has to be a way to show that you are not RPing at the moment.
-Second. Lengthen your posts, put more description into them. Describe your surroundings at the moment of the post, any stray thoughts your character may have, or even a sudden event that may befall him. Observe.
Ibiki get bored of wasting his time within the forest. Sitting upon the branch of a rather tall tree, he jumps down and lands upon the lush ground without a sound. He stands back up, looking around to make sure that he was not being watched by anyone "There's nothing to do in here, I don't even remember why I came in here in the first place" Ibiki said as he turned around and began to walk in the direction that would lead him out, his stomach beginning to growl as he took the first couple of steps "...and now I'm hungry."
Like that, add more to your posts and it opens up the possibilities of who you can RP with.
-Third. RP the enviroment and your movements accordingly. Move to a character over time, unless you are close enough to do certain actions. If you are in the forest, and someone else is on a mountain, and the distance between you has already been determined to be extremely far, that is when you RP moving towards there location. It may take more than one post to get to them, but it will make it so no one gets annoyed with your posts and get mad at you.
