Life is an adventure
Live a Little
In the Spirit of Things: 3- Gotta Catch'em All
"Any new word on what to do Zapook?" Onima shyly said as she peeked into Zapook's lab.

Ever since the little talk the two of them had, Zapook and Onima came to a startling conclusion. Lex didn't just force the house's members into humanity. He gave that very part he took from everyone it's own life somehow, sorta speak. The big question is, how is one to catch them, and put them back where they belong.

Zapook sighed, "If I'm going to figure that part out, I first need one of those walking emotions as well as the person it belongs to. Now... the person is easier to find than the spirit, so let's start with the easiest spirit."

"Ok, Zapook, which one is the easiest?" Onima question, sitting at one of Zapook's lab tables.

After much thought, Zapook finally snapped her fingers. "Koopling's been acting out much worse than usual, right? And you said you saw a fiery kitten that seemed down on itself. Right? Seems like Koopling humbleness is running around her somewhere."

"...Koopling humble?"

"Or something related, seeing as how there's nothing holding her back from tearing up the house and chasing Wolven away from her."

"So we find the sad kitten, and the Mean, Human Koopling."

"Uh...I gotta...um..stay here and work on things...you go. Go on."

"...ARE YOU KIDDING?! KOOPLING WILL DESTROY ME!"

Onima's yelling made Zapook jump and dive under the table. With a curious stare, Onima peered under the table.

Zapook shuddered a bit, "Please lower your voice..."

The kitchen erupted in a burst of smoke, Koopling manic laughter echoing from the smoke filled halls connected to that room. Onima skittishly peekd into the kitchen. "Um...Koopling?"

Koopling had a broken toaster in her hand, glaring back at Onima with a groan, "What do you want?!"

"Zapook..Wants to see you..."

"Zapook can go suck a nut."

"That's rude... She just wants to-"

"GET OUT!" Koopling yelled before chucking the toaster at Onima, who barely dodged it as she fell back.

Panting some, Onima pulled herself to her feet, a small mew catching her off guard as she slowly turned around. The sad looking fiery kitten was sitting there, looking up at her with teary eyes. She then let out a scream as the kitten brushed against her leg, yet she wasn't burned. Onima tapped her chin before grinning and poking her head back into the kitchen, holding the kitten in her hands.
"Hey Koopling...Since you're breaking the kitchen, mind if I 'break' this?"

Koopling glared back and growled. "GIVE THAT BACK! IT'S MINE!"

"Figures you'd care if it involved you!", Onima yells, before running back toward Zapook's room.

Koopling tore after her, following her down into Zapook's lab, only to run right into a cage. Onima, panting, sat at a lab table and set the shivering kitten down. Zapook was on the other side of the room, staring at the angry Koopling in a cage, while one of the spirit foxes was perched next to her. The fox was slightly larger than the other ones that surrounded the house, and had multiple tails.

"I brought them both, no thanks to you. Now what?"

Zapook nodded down at the fox. It's eyes glowed as it slowly walked toward the kitten, picking it up gently with it's teeth. After making eye contact with the enraged Koopling, who seemed to freeze from the fox's stare, the fox itself jumped through the bars carrying the kitten, and shot straight through Koopling's body. However, once it landed, the kitten was no longer hanging from it's jaws. Koopling dropped to her knees in the cage and collapsed. Two red tipped white ears slowly rose from her hair as she laided on the floor.
Onima let out a sigh of relief, "I thought she was gonna ring my neck...How did you know the fox could do that?"

"I studied them for a while, remember? They seem attached to us, so It's no surprise that one's willing to help like this." Zapook smiled down at the fox, who had lost it's glow and was laying on it's belly, passed out. "...This one seemed tired out."

"So it can't do that again?"

" 'Fraid not. Seemed like it took a lot of concentration and energy. Poor thing."

"So how are we gonna help the others?"

"C'mon Onima. This wasn't the only multi-tailed fox hanging around. I'll just have to search the property until I find another, or this one gets its energy back."

"Let me guess. It's up to me to get what ever spirit I can find down here, right?"

"Now you're getting it." Zapook grins.

Hell, the Tiger spirit will be cake to catch. Just have Onima dress in Sushi and dance about until she hears a roar.

... Then you just have to figure out how to make a tiger trap to catch the spirit.
