Death... Distruction... Pain... Darkness...
The world trembled at his feet. The Dragon Lord. A black beast with silver eyes who ravaged this world until it threatened to break. Countless people died at his claws, the fire from his throat scorched the beautiful forests. Perched high upon a mountain, he looked down at the smoldering villiage that had appeared while he had been asleep. A small form caught his eye, moving against the rocks. A low growl eminated from deep in his throat. Who dared to mock him? To come up in his presence knowing full well they would be killed. His silver eyes narrowed as a woman, dressed in white stepped out around the rocks.

Blood ran down her dress, staining it a beautiful dark color. She clutched to the rock for support. "Oh Great Lord." She called, though her voice trembled. She was answered with another growl from the beast. "I must beg you to leave." Laughter filled his chest. This woman was pleading for the lives that he had already distroyed. "To leave this world and never return" Ah... so that is what she wanted. He lowered his head, humoring her, until it was level with her. Her green eyes were wide with terror, though her mouth was set in determination. "And you give yourself in final feast to me?" the woman swollowed and nodded her head, her long brown locks falling into her face. "Aye." His silver eyes flashed. This woman was giving herself in vein. He would never leave, nor would he allow this woman to leave now. In a swift forward motion his teeth ripped through her. She let out a gasp, then died. He dropped the poor creature, her body landing limply. It was then he noticed the patterns that engraved her skin. His anger flooded him. He had been fooled. The woman sacrificed herself to lock him away. Her blood upon him, he was cursed. His wings arched as he took off from the ground.

That evening... the curse took hold of the mighty dragon. Reduced to nothing more then human himself. Pale skin, soft unlike his black armor, dark hair that fell into his silver eyes. No more could he fly the dark sky filled with the smoke of fire below. THe worse part? He couldn't rid himself of the soft skin. There was no option of dying. He had tried it many of times. The years went on, and he remained the same. Stuck as a human in a slowly building world. He watched as towers were erected that he would have distroyed. The human race began to swell into numbers that were remarkable. Citys packed full of the flee infested flesh. And he, the dragon that everyone feared, lost in the crowd of faces.

User Image Tama's ear twitched slightly as he packed up. A young neko sat across the room. "Tama... I don't think this is a good idea." He whined. Tama chuckled as he snapped the belt around his waist, his tail flicking slightly. "Chio, I need to do this." He smiled at Chio, "Just think about it? Going where everyone else can. Actually buy things then have to hunt down everything that we need."

Tama was only sixteen, but because of who he was born to, he had been chosen to lead the rebel group of nekos on a mission. Nekos had been walked upon for years and years. Slaves, servents or anything else that was dirty work for people. However, Tama lived with a group that had hidden themselves in the forest, away from humans. That night, they were going to the castle located just next to the forest they dwelled in. They were going to force a treaty between humans and Nekos. How? They were going to kidnap the princess.

Tama zipped up his jacket and pulled the hood over his black ears. "Alright... Here goes nothin..." The bare feet pattered quietly against the dry earth. Tama was with four others. The others were to distract the guards leaving him to scale the wall and into the princess' room. There was a bird call and the nekos on either side of him vanished into the dark as he continued forward. Over the wall and through the garden. He paused once he was at the wall and looked up, his green eyes widening, this was going to be harder then he thought.

User Image The carriage rattled along the dark pathway. Kaname sat within it's confines looking through the window. The reason why he was here was out of pure dumb luck. He was the oldest out of his brothers and the losing side of the war. The war that had lasted for years between the north and the south over land. The peace treaty? That his father was to give up his eldest son to the winning southern kingdom. And here Kaname was...

He had never ben to the southern kingdom's castle before, but he knew that he had at least one daughter and that it was said that she was beautiful. Shaking his head, he slaped himself mentally. There was not a chance that he would hold any rank that he had within his own kingdom. The carriage pulled to a stop infront of the castle and his stomach sank as he peered through the darkness at the place that was either to be a home or a hell. The door opened and he stepped out.

His own servent bowed his head. "Goodbye, Lord Kaname." He kept his head high though the corner of his mouth twitched to a sad smile. "Goodbye my friend." He said quietly. He stepped forward where there was a higher ranked servent, waiting to announce the arrival of the fallen prince. He was lead into the dinning hall where there were loud sounds of celebration. However, all stopped when the two entered into the room. "Lord Kaname from the north." It took all he had, but Kaname bent his head in a bow to the king. His eyes closed as shame washed over him.

France, 1620
Darien's heart pounded in his head as he ran down the streets of Paris. Police yelled behind him to stop, like that was ever going to happen. In his hand was a ring that he had stolen from some guy in a top hat and coat. Who would have thought so much fuss over a stupid ring? The cobbled streets made it difficult to find his footing without falling. Normally, it would have been easy to escape them because the streets were always filled with carriages, horses, and so many people that it was difficult to find anyone in that mess. Night had fallen, and there was barely a whisper of a person. People were so superstitious of ghosts that never existed.
The police were catching up to him and out of a doorway came a woman. She was dressed in a dark red gown with a black bustle in the back. The corset that hugged around her middle showed off her curves and enlarged her cleavage. Her hair was dark and pinned up, falling here and there in ringlets. It was his only chance. He pulled out a knife from his pant pocket. He grabbed hold of her small waist and pulled her back against his front, his knife against her pale neck. "Stay the hell away from me!" He screamed, "Or I'll kill her!" The woman, however, didn't struggle, didn't scream. She did nothing as he held her. His breathing was so hard and his heart pounded it was difficult to tell who's movements was who's.
"Take it easy kid." One of the police said, holding out his hands, "Ma'am, it's going to be alright." The woman actually laughed softly. "I'm not worried. This young man is my servant." This caught everyone off guard, including the boy who held her a knife point. "What is he doing with the knife?" One of the police asked tentitivly. She giggled again, "Oh, he's a little disturbed, the knife isn't even real." She reached up a hand and took hold of his wrist. Her hand was icy cold and locked around his wrist, "Now what did the boy do?" she asked as she moved the knife away from her neck as if nothing had happened. "He stole a family crest ring from the duke." She sighed and turned to him, "Give me the ring." She said holding out her other hand. Darien blinked at her. What the hell was going on? He reached into his pocket without even thinking, his eyes lost within her own dark ones. He retrived the ring and handed it to her. She then offered it to the police. "I will take him home. He will be punished." And with that, the police left the two in the dark.
Darien began to pull away from her, but her icy grip held. She smiled at him gently, her lips painted a dark red. "Now, where are you going?" she asked. "You have a payment to full fill. I saved your life. Now you will repay me." Darien tried to rip his hand from hers. "Go to he-" But his eyes connected with hers once more. "You will do as I say." she said softly. She pulled a ring from her pocket, a ring identical to the one he had stolen. She placed it upon his finger. "And you will stay with me forever."
Her name had been Lady Gwenivier, although she was no ordinary lady. She was a vampire of one of the noble families. Why she had ever taken an interest in Darien, he didn't know, but she had. The ring he had been given was no easily removed from his finger. She had to remove it herself. With a command, the ring would burn slightly for a warning, he had learned quickly to move when he had been given an order. The pain that went though his body was second to nothing.
Gwenivier never sank her fangs within him, although he rounded up many people for her to feast upon. Then one night, she vanished. Darien had risen that night to tend to his mistress only to find out that she was gone. The hangings upon her bed had been ripped and torn, there had been a fight. A stake was upon the bed. He didn't know whether to be weep or laugh. He was free, or so he thought. The ring upon his finger refused to move from his finger, and through the years, he never aged past 17, the day that she had placed the ring upon his finger.

Japan, 2010
Darien had moved around the world though the years. He found that he loved the bigger cities. There was always more people there, the constant noise kept him from ever really thinking. He had transfered into different schools, his mind hungering for knowledge in his old age, though his body refused to show it. He sat in a class room, clad in the school uniform that was rather uncomfortable upon his body. He had just entered into the school, passing the bar thanks to a test he had been required to take. Now, he just sat and waited for the next adventure in his life to begin.
