I'm back from visiting my grandparents. I mostly knit (worked on a scarf and made rectangles for an American Legion's afghan for vets) and chatted with them. We also watched The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I love gryphons. Watching them fly makes me happy.

After I returned to my parents' house, I finished rereading Good Omens, which is still one of the funniest books (if not THE funniest book) I've ever read. I shouldn't like Pollution, but he's kind of adorable anyway. And Crowley and Aziraphale are, of course, awesome. As are tapes that turn into Queen if they remain too long in a car.

We ate my dad's lentil chili and watched Despicable Me tonight, which was funny and adorable.
