Alleyway
When it came to love I was mostly trapped in a cage
Feeling confused as to why, caused me rage
There’s got to be a way out I know
I found a path that’s hopefully the right way to go

I’m going down the alleyway to get to my destiny
Where it’ll be just her and me
For eternity it seems
Is how long I’ll be with the girl of my dreams

Along the way I asked some ladies if they knew who or where she was
Though I got no answer because
They just rejected me
So I just kept walking down thinking I’ll just have to wait and see

I then came to a wall many miles wide
I wondered if she was on the other side
I found a crack in the wall that let me see her
Though I could only get my words to her through the special paper

Then the cops who kept me under key came today
From her they took me away
Gonna lock me away for two more years
I’ll try to wait and hold back the tears

I went down the alleyway, found my destiny
For some time it was just her and me
Though now I gotta wait it seems
For me to go back to those dreams…..
Again
