Have you ever listened to a song and just felt depressed. I hate when a song is so true to you that it makes you want to cry. Ive felt that way a lot lately, and changing the song doesn’t work because either everything you own is depressing as well or it just doesn’t…sound rite. You have to listen to the sad to make you happy. Slowly wind your way through the music, let it take you over. Start out with the slightly sad, the music that makes you feel blue, then the music that makes yer eyes water, then on to the real tear-jerkers. Its then that your at your weakest listening to the most tragic of all, the music that has seen your roughest times, has witnessed your heartaches, these are the songs that will stay with you until your old and hearing is going out. Its not the happy songs that will stay with you, its not the songs you danced to on the beach with all your friends…It’s the ones that you cried to when your friends all broke apart and you were left alone, with no one but your music for comfort. Theres something magickal in the way music can affect you so fully, it can overwhelm your entire being. You can be having a perfectly wonderful day, then a song comes on and your instantly transported to a memory filled with everything you wanted to forget, let it all disappear. You sing it at the top of your lungs hoping to spill your feelings out with the words you let flow from your heart as if it was written for you personally. I hope I get to the end of this musikal journey. I hope the sad vanishes taking the pain away with itself. I want the happy song to come on now. I want the song sayin you survived it all and your better for it. But its too soon as of yet. Skipping ahead only makes you yearn for the lost, you need to have the pain to complete yourself. You have to listen to it to heal. To feel complete.
