::Not Alone Anymore::

She walked lightly, gnawing on a tree stem as her nose led her in a direction that smelt of salt and something she couldn't describe with her young senses. She's stopped whimpering and whining a while after playing with pups, and meeting older wolves by the mountains. Her mind slowly began slipping into a different reality, and she liked it. Bright skyblue eye's were filled with wonderment as she watched a sparrow and it's partner dance in the branches above her. Their music making her heart feel light as she kept walking. She'd learned the only way to stay alive was to keep moving, not that it helped her much as her small frame was thin each bone in her ribs flaunting her lack of hunting ability, or mothers nourishment. She knew she was going to die, but... at least she had better memories to go with her when that time came. That thought was peaceful as she came to the mouth of a large river, she'd seen different parts of it through out her travels, having wondered through meadows and by the mountains, now her nose was taking her towards the ocean.

She had once met an older pup, the pup was more adolescent, adult almost. But she played with her and the other's just the same, They had all been so kind. But that was weeks ago, Still her mind thought of Istas and of her kindness as she shared her food. Faith's ears went back as she let out a small howl, she'd just learned she could do that, and enjoyed the feeling that flowed through her as she let out her pain. She always hurt, but, unless others heard her song she didn't think they'd know that. She had plopped to her hunches as the song took her into a mourning tune as the stick she'd been chewing fell to her small paws. She hadn't expected an answer to her howl, nore the voice. Tiny purple ear's perked up as she climbed back to all fours, the sound of paws moving quick on soft earth becoming apparent to her sharp ears. Out of the bushes, coming from that amazing scent she'd been following, Came the much larger shape of Istas.

"Faith?" the young Dragga said with brows drawn, her ice blue eye's boldly looking into the small, even thinner then she'd seen her last time, pups face. Faith looked pathetic, nothing but skin and bones. Istas couldn't believe the little one was still standing. "My pack heard your cries... They wanted to all come and investigate, but I told them I knew you so they let me come alone..." That wasn't entirely true she thought as she watched the silent little girls reaction, her instincts well aware of Eva and Zaioha in the brush behind her. She had managed a quick warning not to let any males come before bolting off. "I...istas?" Faiths voice was broken, soft and kind as always, but horse from lack of speaking. She looked near death and the older pup couldn't help but take a few steps forward. "It's me Faith, I've hit a growth spirit apparently, but it's me... Are... Are you hungry?" She knew better to go for any other angle with the fragial girl whom was so much younger then she. Sure they were both pups, and had played as such only two full moons ago. But she was still far larger then the small one, whom looked even smaller from malnutrition.

Faith whimpered as she moved quicker then Istas thought to brush up against the older femme. Her cries were stronger and Istas reacted by nuzzling her and licking her face affectionately. She hadn't known the girl long, but no pup should suffer so much pain, she remembered how clear that feeling had been, but unlike Faith, She had a lone female find her, save her. She never got this bad... "It's ok Faith, it's ok... I have someone I want you to meet... Will you let her come say hi?" The pup in question froze, blue eye's filled with fear, but the the Her sunk in and she nodded slowly. "o..okay.." she was shaking, Istas felt awful for having let her walk away from her those moons ago as she felt every bone in the pups body that pressed solidly against her's, she had plopped down to sit, showing that she was very comfortable as she turned her gaze to look into the brush behind her, where Eva had stood, she had sent Zaioha to grab some meat from the kill they had made not long ago, so she stood alone.

Slowly the strong white Alpha moved out into seeing distance. Eva was accustomed to this, as she had helped many whom ended up pack in just the same manor. When Faith froze so did she, holding her tail high, but letting her tong lull out as if to show that she meant no harm. She waited a few more seconds before proceeding forward, her pace slow, timed, steady. Finally after what Istas thought was forever, Eva stood next to them, her scent washing over them both as she allowed young Faith to sniff her. "Hello young one..." She said gently. Her words still frightened Faith enough that she darted into Istas's front paws, this caused the younger dragga to blink with surprise. She let a gentle laugh rumble her chest as she licked Faiths head. "This is Eva, Faith. She's my Alpha, She and her mate Wall-e own the lands were in right now, My home. And... yours... if you'd like." Blue eye's met their near twin colored ones, then slowly Faith turned her gaze to meet Eva's, not knowing any better about pack edict. The older femme let it slide, understanding bright in her eyes. This little one, had suffered much, far to much for one so young.

her ears perked straight up as her gaze left Faiths to watch Zaioha pop out of the bushes, a huge chunk of deer meet hanging from her mouth, She had completely disregarded the pups fear, and as soon as she popped out, Faith tucked herself as deep into Istas's form as she could. She was shaking furiously while soft whimpers left her unconsciously. "I brought the food!" Zai declared with a smile as she dropped the meat at Eva's paws, near Istas and the hiding Faith. Her tail quick wagging and dipped between her legs as she realized far to late how much she had frightened the small one.

"Oh... I'm sorry little one... I didn't mean to scare you..." Her voice was chipper, and kind as she dropped to her stomach and crawled the small distance to where Istas hid Faith. Like a cat she dipped a paw between the other Adolescence legs, gently patting the much tinier purple tented paw that peaked out. It moved quickly as Faith tried to burry herself further into Istas, causing the young Dragga to growl at her pack mate. "Zaioha... stop, your only scaring her worse." Green eye's blinked as her ears went back in submission, she felt horrid for frightening this little one. "I'm so sorry..." She mumbled meekly as she backed away, still on her stomach. This caught Faiths attention and she slowly grew more confident. "Is...its... ok..." she mumbled in her bell toned voice, bright water filled blue eye's peaked from under Istas's frame as she sniffed the meat near her. She looked up at Eva and Istas for permission.

Both Dragga's nodded their heads and with that confirmation she darted from under her friends body to begin devouring Zai's present. All three femme's watched the youngest of them eat with pity. Istas's ears were back as she once more beat herself up mentally for letting Faith leave her side the last time she saw her. Faith finished the meal after a small while, enjoying the feeling of a half full belly for the first time in a very long time. She licked her paws and accepted Eva's licks as the Alpha cleaned her muzzle, it reminded her of her mother and she leaned in without realizing it. Zai remained silent as she watched the other two Dragga's fuss over the pup, she didn't want to scare her more by trying to help.

"You feelin any better young one?" Zaioha finally asked as the other two finally backed off enough for Faith to completely relax where she lay. She nodded her head happily. "Thank you very much. I've been so hungry... but... I'm...to little to catch anything..." Her ears went back as she buried her nose in her front paws for a moment, like she was embarrassed. "Well, come with us and I'll personally teach you to hunt?" Eva said with a soft smile, licking the top of Faith's head in an affectionate way to show the little one she was safe with them. Faith frowned, shaking again as she closed her eye's and tears welled up. "I don't know..."

Istas sighed, "I know it's scary Faith, but you'll die on your own... look at you, your skin an bones. Please come with us? When your bigger you can leave if you wanna..." the open ended invite gave Faith a little hope, enough so that she slowly nodded. She didn't get to stand back to her paws as Eva, whom knew she'd be impatient with a pups pace, Plucked the young one up by the scruff of her neck and began trotting back, both the other girls behind her. Zaioha felt it was necessary to warn Faith. "So you know little Faith, we do have boys in our pack..." This got a whimper from Faith, and a deep warning growl from Eva, Zai bravely continued, though she flinched from the growl. "We have little boys your age... they are both very nice, I'm sure you wont have to worry about them as they are your size, you could take them in a fight."

Faith was shaking in Eva's grip, but she didn't whimper again, only made a deep swallowing sound as she tried to get some inner confidence to come out as she faced this newest adventure. She didn't know if she could handle this, But... and with this thought she found that confidence and stopped shaking all together, her eye's brightening as she finally saw what her ears had been hearing as the ocean's waves crashed on the shore, and a huge beautiful water fall flowed to her right. She didn't want to die, and she didn't want to be alone anymore...
