Here is a small side not to you all:
Amphitrite is Poseidon's Wife. They married and had many children together that became wonderful heroes.
Another Note:
Persephone and Hades are from two different words, Hades tricked Persephone to come into his underworld and eat the sacred fruit of his tree and when she did she was soul bound to him and the underworld. Hades lets her out every spring so that she can defrost the snow and have her flowers bloom.
Persephone's mother was outraged by Hades and told Zeus who didn't exactly ignore it but he didn't really do anything either. At the time he was to busy helping one of his many sons to become a god like him.
*Zeus in this time was spending most of his time looking at the mortal women and sleeping with them angering Hera (Zeus's wife). In this she would curse the maidens he slept with because she could not punish Zeus let alone leave him because she was in love with him.*
*Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades are all brothers.*

A river of blood that flows down a large and very old cliff and a small bridge that takes her to a giant black Ominous gate. A cold wind blew against her and the smell of rotting flesh filled her nose forcing her to gag in disgust. Behind the gate she can see Hades castle. It flashed with blue and purple lights every few minutes. The blood curling screams pierce her ears and she has to breathe before she continues. Three steps, that's all it took before a man with pure white skin, blood shot eyes and a long black hair dressed in a long flowing robe that seemed to stay connected to the ground making him look as if he was floating. Behind him comes black skeletons that match his robe in color. Dressed in Battle armor they are covered with a suspicious crimson fluid that drips from their swords and she knows all to well what this liquid is.
