I thank you, Queenly Eye of Ra,
For bestowing upon me three blessings:
One for my brother to always come home,
Safe and smart in his actions abroad
The second for luck in getting a new job
Along with the luck to keep it
I thank you for these and the third,
The chance and financial ability to go to school,
I'm honored to receive your loving care
As it helps my heart and dreams to grow
Thank you, honored queen and friend,
For hearing and accepting my wishes,
I hope you find them pure of heart
And allow them to come to be when you see fit
Thank you for giving me a sign,
The black onyx piece underfoot,
It's comforting to know you've heard my voice
And watch over me with a loving eye.
