It's so easy to get bogged down by one particular kid in the grade who's such a nuisance! He does so much that gets on my nerves but let's not waste time on him. He takes up far too much time as it is.
Good things about today:- Some kids were on fire doing their work! It was really good to see the kids focusing on their work
- The majority of the students were good at listening
- The computer lab time wasn't as bad as some other times. I didn't have to raise my voice too much. Most kids were on track.
- Maths Tiggy was fun. Some potential trouble-makers behaved then.
- The kids on the prep-2 side of the yard were well-behaved and didn't get into major fights or anything. Actually, it was pretty funny that one of the kids exclaimed "A zombie is chasing me!" and then you see this little kid waddling with his hands in front of him, making zombie noises.
- The principal team were supportive and tried to help me deal with this one child. No one can do it alone.
- I received an email from a friend in Japan, telling me she's ok and her sister got into uni! Now studying to be a doctor.
So yeah. Stay positive. Think of the good things. Be thankful for the little things in life. smile
