I don't think I've ever been this cold for so long. Today started out just a normal monday. Nothing to exciting and what have you. But my first job at work was to help pull out boat docks. Not the small ones mind you but those really big ones. Anyways it started out raining and turned to snow. So it was as you could imagine rather cold. Well I had to pull these 20 foot long steel pipes that were holding the dock in place. Out of the river bed and onto the shore. So I had to have this giant pole above my head thats rather top heavy in the rain/snow.
My hands were soaked and frozen it took about three of us per pipe. There was several though the last one the other two guys dropped it and I caught the thing. It suprised everyone there since there so heavy that I caught it and walked it off the dock by myself. The dock moves with the water mind you it's rather easy to fall in. Especially considering it was raining and snowing. Well after getting soaked I went through the rest of the day doing outdoor jobs. I was so cold all day long I didn't have gloves because my other pair got soaked and my feet was wet.
But I'm home now! I took a hot shower and best of all I got on the computer. When Julia was there online waiting for me! That made me feel so much better. I was finally able to see her on her webcam again. heart She's away taking a shower right now so I have to wait for her. But trust me it's well worth it! I'm just going to write this up and hopefully she pops back online real soon.

Here lets look at something warm. This picture was taken back in June. It was the week I spent with Julia and her family. In this picture we're at nashville shores. A waterpark we spent the entire afternoon there. It was pretty fun oh note my arm. No that wasn't burnt from the day that got burnt on the ride down to see Julia and her family for the trip. It was really funny looking. From right to left it is Brandon, Ed, Myself, Julia, and Gail. ~DJ Bothwell
