Using the power of the PunchHopper zector, Yagumura and I got to the Gerudu Desert where we found Cooler battling Mewtwo. This was no random Mewtwo, this was THE Mewtwo created by Giovanni. He was filled with rage and attacked us. Even teaming up with Cooler we couldn't inflict much harm on Mewtwo. All that we managed to do was fend him off until he fled into space, but not before he destroyed the Spirit Temple.
I was completly devasted, but I had to move on. Cooler joined our team and went with us to the Temple of Time, where the finals would take place. Inside were the other finalists including Styles and his team. It was difficult, but I-and by extension my team-won. I had particular trouble against a fake Power Puff girl. I was going to kill her because those that lose/die are sent back to their own timespace, but Styles convinced her to surrender first. As long as I win, it doesn't matter. She'd be alive either way.
AAfter winning, the temple stopped traveling through time and we came out in Hyrule 7 years in the past, 4 years before I was 'born'. It was horrible; Chaos, the mastermind of the tournament, was corrupting Hyrule with chaos, turning it into his domain.
Together with Styles, Yagumura, and Shadow I went into what had once been Hyrule Castle. Inside we fought fierce enemies and barely won against them. M. Bison was incredibly strong. I don't know where he gets his strength from, but it's not chaos or darkness. It's something more primal.
Our next opponent was Mayhem, whom I had encountered a long time ago. We fought that time too, but this time I was stronger. Mayhem wouldn't let the others interfere in the fight. Styles hypothesized that this was the true representaion of mayhem, not an aspect of it like Chaos and I are facets of the true Chaos. Because of this I showed no signs of winning until Mayhem seemed to let me win. It was strange, but we moved on.
At the top of the castle was Chaos. he told me something horrible. For a long time I thought I had been created randomly until Chaos said I was intended to grow strong then be absorbed back into him. Now he revealed that was a secondary goal. My true purpose is to protect Hyrule. Almost seven years ago Chaos had a vision of Hyrule and it's goddesses faling to darkness. Wanting Hyrule to be destroyed properlly, he created a spawn with one instruction implanted within it 'protect Hyrule'. With this directive the spawn would protect Hyrule from darkness and corrupt it with chaos at the same time. Eventually the spawn would grow so powerful it would destroy Hyrule and lose control.
But the instruction was too simple. The chaosling wanted to protect Hyrule as it was, not destroyed or filled with chaos. Because of this it did not grow as strong as it should have. Instead it ignored it's chaotic roots to better control itself and protect Hyrule.
When Hyrule was inevidably destroyed by darkness, the chaosling had lost it's purpose and became reclusive. I understand now, why I had trouble making friends outside of Hyrule or even functioning. I wasn't meant to. I latched onto King Mickey because he and Disney Castle reminded me of Hyrule, of my original purpose.
One day I may grow too strong and lose control, but that day has become further away. In the battle against Chaos while he possesed Ganondorf, he stole much chaos from me, leaving me weakened and without the ability to teleport or fly. My hairs turned black/purple again.
But the important thing is my friends are safe and even as Chaos was weakened and sent from Hyrule, it still survives. My friends and the other surviving contestents are helping me rebuild Hyrule. Filled with the influences of their worlds, Hyrule has become a sort of Hub World like Traverse Town and Gaia. Even if I'm weaker and am the result of too simple instructions, I feel happy.
