Part V B
Scene IV
Leon and Sirse come clashing into each other like fire and ice as the two duel each other to the death. Leon makes the first draw as he soars in the air as he aims for Sirse, whom also had her wings flying up in the air as she attempts to dodge his attack with her sword in hand. Her first dodge succeeds as Leon’s gun blade came clashing with her sword as friction came between them. The as Leon swings his gun blade at Sirse for the second time round, it strikes her down, leaving a large cut on her waist as she falls on the ground with her wings protecting her. When Sirse felt a sting sensation on her stomach, she looked down and noticed that her waist had been cut. In rage, she then grabs her sword which lay beside her and flew towards where Leon was floating as she attempts to attack and swings her sword at him. Leon grabs his gun blade and dodges her attack which causes the blades to clash against each other once again.
Sirse then bellows as tries to push the blade towards him, “You can’t win! I’ll make sure you fall on your bony face and scream like you have never before you bloody low life!” “Bring it on, b***h!” Leon smirks as she pushes his blade forward to keep Sirse’s blade out of reach. Finally, Sirse falls to the ground as Leon pushes her back as she hits the corner of the wall. Luka, whom stood in the side lines, was more than half way done into creating her own missile gun with the gun powder and the massive amount of scraps that she found inside her back pack. “If I don’t finish this sooner or later, it will just consume more time for Leon to take Sirse down to the point where none of us can escape from the government explosion!” Luka whispered as she placed the final pieces together of the missile gun.
Sirse whom laid against the wall, had a sudden crack between the edges of the corner and began to seep blood from her skull. When Sirse bravely rose her feet back on the ground, carrying her sword along with her, she raise her left arm to feel the back of her head, for which it was aching, felt a sudden crack in the back of her head and blood seeping through the back of her head, knowing that her skull was fractured. She became infuriated and growled at Leon for one moment, but then she turned to her right and noticed that Luka was standing behind the staircase at the sidelines as she was worrying for Leon’s sake. Sirse then smiles sinisterly her smile widens with a grin and walks slowly to Luka. As Luka turned to her left, away from where the battle is, she then notices Sirse, whom held the sword in her hand slowly dragging it to her. Luka eyes widened in terror as Sirse’s sword drew closer and closer to her. When Sirse was about a foot away from her, she then swung her sword and raised it up in the air as it was aiming for Luka’s jugular vein.
Leon then turned his attention to where Luka was and noticed that Sirse was about to attack Luka with her sword and to try and kill her. Leon then flies his way to the scene as quickly as possible to stop Sirse from having the opportunity to slay Luka right before him. Sirse as she swing the ten foot katana forward as she attempts to slice Luka to gain some victory, something suddenly held her back that was preventing her to draw her sword closer to Luka. When she gazed her eyes forward to see if she has slain her target is, a hand like object was grabbing on to her sword, as Luka stood there, completely unharmed. Sirse then turned her attention to see what that figure was as and gazed at the figure with shock. It was Leon, whose eyes were inverted to a strange black exterior and white interior with a blue glow in the center of his eyes as he clutched on to the sword and glaring at her as he spoke in a demonic voice, “ Hurting her, I don’t think so!”
Leon then throws back Sirse’s sword as he draws his gun blade to her in fury and rapid speed, quickly cutting her multiple times without having a chance to draw her sword at him. “Luka, can you hurry up and finish your gun! There’s not much time left! We only have twenty minutes left!” Leon shouted at Luka as he was now dodging Sirse’s attacks from her blade. “Can’t you see that I’m trying here without trying to get myself killed in the process!” Luka exclaimed at Leon as she was placing the final pieces inside the missile gun. “We’ll, can’t you hurry it up just a little bit?” Leon replied back as he was being flung to the ground, for Sirse was be able to attack Leon without having his dodging skills be in the way. “I’m hurrying, I’m hurrying! Geez, he’s so demanding!” Luka replied as she was getting agitated with all the pressure being thrown at her.
Sirse then flies back to the ground, seeing that she has impaled Leon in his right lung, believing that he is dead and cackles insanely as she grins at the body, “Well, it all fun and games just playing with you, but now that you’re dead, the duel is over, I have won you have lost! And now I’m going to take care of you little friend here, I hope that’s alright with you.” As Sirse turns her attention to Luka, Leon removed the sword from his lungs as he tosses it to the side and grabs his gun blade and triggers the bullet at her right arm. Sirse then feels a sudden pinch through her arm as she held it with her left arm tightly; she turns around to her right and notices that she has been shot. Sirse then turns to what was behind her and notices that Leon has risen from the ground as he held his gun blade in his hand with some blood seeping from his lung as she stood in amazement, “You’re still alive? Even after I stabbed one of your vital organs that could have killed you?” Leon then brushes the debris from his right shoulder as he said naturally, “Well technically speaking Sirse, both you and I are considered neither living nor dead, in fact both of us are really undead. So blows like that aren’t really a biggie for me, unless you’re saying that you fatal weakness that is still out in the open for me to take care of?” Leon then suddenly regenerates his wound before her as the blood that seeped out from his lung slowly pieces itself back inside his lung and the wound which it came from.
Sirse looked at Leon with further astonishment as he eyes widened in fright and shook like a leaf, “You’re regenerating? That….can be, that’s impossible! You can’t regenerate!” “Just did right before you, I guess right at the last minute Walter decided to give me regenerating powers unlike the rest of his vessels would ever obtain!” Leon smirked as he completely regenerated right before her, seeing that the wound is finally gone, as if the wound never existed. Leon then turns over to the side as Luka had the missile gun ready at hand as he shouted, “Luka, are you finished with you gun yet?” Luka then smiles cheerfully as she aims the gun at Sirse, “Yep. Open and ready to fire!” “Great!” Leon replied as he swung his gun blade at Sirse, whom had already several cuts on her body, had made an extra cut down on her waist as she was sent flying in midair. “On a count of three, we both shoot at her!” Leon shouted at Luka as he looked at her from the distance. Luka nodded as she lifted her missile gun and aimed it to where Sirse was floating. Leon then counted down as he slowly lifted up his gun blade as he was aiming it for Sirse, “1…2…3!” Both weapons shot from the distance as Sirse was cornered up by the wall and closed doors behind her with the bullet of Leon’s gun blade aiming in front of her, the bullet from the missile gun on her right and the wall on her left, for she was trapped in her own death bed with no way out. At the last minute, Luka grabbed all of her items at once an rushed to Leon as quick as her two feet let her and jumped on Leon as they both were throttled fifty feet away from the scene, near were the entrance doors to the second building are. As both bullets shot Sirse in both directions, a fiery explosion expanded from the distance with twenty feet in diameter. Both Luka and Leon stared at the scene in both astonishment and shock as they both got up from the ground and stood on their two feet.
Leon then sighed in relief as he gazed at Sirse feather which floated to them as it was lit on fire, “At long last…that bloody bird is finally dead in her own burning grave.” Luka then giggled among herself as she smiled cheerfully at Leon, “Yep and mostly thanks to you!” “Me? But you helped to didn’t you?” Leon looked at her in confusion as he was blushing. “Yes, but I only put little effort into the battle since its only one shot from the missile gun. Most of this work is done by you.” Luka explained as she placed her book bag on her back in its proper position and picked up her missile gun that stood beside her. Leon stood beside her as he looked at the fiery seen before him as he said calmly, “Yea, I guess so.” “Wow, Leon, I never knew you had it in you. You gain so much power as you fought in the battle between you and Sirse, and you are a lot stronger in your current form than in you human form! I’m impressed!” Luka smiled cheerfully as she held tightly on to her gun. Leon then suddenly put his gun blade away and raised his right hand, snapping his fingers again as his skeletal form quickly changed back to his human form.
Luka then turned around and noticed that Leon was back to his normal self and started yelling at him, “Hey, no fair! Why did you have to change back into a human? You looked so cool in you other form! Change it back right now mister!” “No way, besides no one really needs to know, it will just be between you and me!” Leon smirked as he pushed the entrance door slowly. “What about Seras?” Luka looked at Leon with a scowl on her face. “She does not need to know either.” Leon replied as he looked at Luka with a neutral face. “I’m not too sure of it. Besides, she probably already knows that you a sacrament the moment that she met you anyway, so hiding it from her is pointless.” Luka implied as she glared at Leon as she followed him out the door. “What makes you so sure of it?” Leon asks as his eyes followed Luka around. “Simple dummy, both you and her are experiments of Walter! Therefore I think she can tell apart of who’s a human and who’s the living dead, plus chances are that you aura is probably different than from what she sees in most humans!” Luka pin pointed the facts as the both exited out of the building. “Luka, just shut up and get outside of the building, we only have ten minutes to escape from the city anyways!” Leon growled at he looked frustratingly annoyed by Luka’s rambling. “Yay!” Luka exclaimed as the two have already exited out of the Umbrella building and into its outer premises.
Scene V
Seras along with her many clones walked to Walter as she glared at the beast yelping in agony. Seras then shouted at the gruesome monster as her eyes glowed red, “Hey, Walter! Let me make a deal with you!” The devil like suddenly stopped moping and turned his attention to Seras, whom had the many clones surrounding her, “Umm…Interesting there’s more than one of you, now which one is the real you?” “That is where I’m getting at? You see, there’s only one of me and the rest appear to look like me. So I’ll strike a deal with you to figure out which one is really me.” Seras imputed along with the many clones that appeared like her perfectly mimicking her voice. “I see, and what’s the deal that you are willing to make a deal with me on?” Walter asked as he was eyeing on all of the Serases before him, unsure of which one is really the true Seras.
“We will all play with you one round of kagome, you will stay in the circle as we rotate around you as we chant the song. When the chanting stops, you have to guess whose really behind you. If you win, you’ll be allowed to take the real Seras into custody and use her to control the world.” All the Seras’s explained all at the same time as they all eyed at the deformed beast. “Umm…interesting, but what happens when I lose?” “The real Seras will kill you.” All the Serases replied as the gazed calmly at the beast. “Umm…this does sound rather tempting.” Walter replied as he placed his hand underneath his chin. “Going one, going twice…” All the Serases tempted the beast to give in to their little deal. “Alright! Alright! It’s a deal! We play, she stay’s.” Walter responded agitatedly as he was given up to the pressure.
Then all the Serases surround him all at the same time as they formed a circle in midair. “Close your eyes, no peeking.” One of the Serases insisted as they stared down at the beast waiting for him to close his eyes. Walter then scuffed as he knew he could not cheat through this game, for his life was on the line, so he covered his eyes as he remained silent through the time being. Then as they rotated around the circle as they started chanting, “Kagome kagome, kago no make no tori wa Itsu itsu deyaru? Yoake no ban ni Tsuru to kame to subetta. Ushiro no shoumen daare?” When Walter heard the voices chanting, he realized that it was the children that were circling around him, and he grinned silently to himself. The children continued chanting the song until after they repeated it for the seventh time, then Seras’s voice was heard, seeming to come from the front, “Who is the person behind you?”
Walter then thought about this carefully as he thought through their little scheme, as the many voices of the children surround him. “Um, is it Seras…no that’s too simple?” He thought to himself as he whispered so softly that the children did not hear him. Then a whisper of the girl with the pig tails spoke to him from behind, “So did you figure out who it is yet?” Then a slight grimace entered Walter’s face as he responded to the children’s question, “Karin.” All the children gasped in fright as they see that they lost all hope, and then Seras’s voice responded delightfully as it spoke from the distance, “Guess again!”
“What?” Walter exclaimed as he removed his hands from his face as he stared at all of the ghost children before him, and one by one the ghost children swooped through him head first as they attacked him. Suddenly the ghost children that were once surrounding him vanished as they passed into the next life. He then turned around to see if there was anybody behind him, and to his surprise, Seras was standing behind him. “What? It can’t be…” Walter gazed at her with astonishment as he was amazed how she was be able to pull it off. Then silently, she shape shifted her arm into deadly spikes once more, while her right hand aimed the Harkonnen at him. Seras then pulled the trigger at Walter and released her deadly spikes at the same time as the deadly spikes and bullet from the cannon hit him all at once, and both were targeted for the heart.
Walter then laid there against the deadly spikes as he was moaning and groaning on his last dying breath as his head looked down upon the ground. Slowly he transformed from his monstrous form back into a human being as blood spattered and gushed on the floor with some chunks of his organs spilling out as his last dying words were, “Why…?” His skin turned blue as ice as he breathed no more, the deadly spikes then were slowly removed as his deceased body dropped onto the concrete floor. Seras then shape shifted her arm back into a bat wing as she slowly floated back on the ground. Then she walked to the body of Walter Sullivan as it remained lifeless on the floor as she responded to his question coldly as she stared down at the body, “Because you had tortured so many people in your life of which you had no remorse for, but at long last, you are finally dead you b*****d.” She then walked away from the dead body as she walked to the side of the roof top where the bridge stood as she knew that they have only ten minutes left.
Scene VI
When Seras arrived at the right side of the roof top, she then peaked over the balcony railing from where both of the entrances of the buildings were located and noticed two figures waving at her from the distance. Luka, whom appeared to be one of the figures waving at her shouted cheerfully from the distance, “Hey Seras! Thank goodness you’re alright! Can you please come by here and get us out of here before the place explodes!” “Alright, hold on! I’ll be right down there!” Seras shouted back cheerfully as Seras stepped on top of the railing, smiling.
“What is she doing? She’s not going to jump for it, is she?” Luka looked at Leon with a bit of concern on her face. “Don’t worry, I’m pretty sure she’s knows what she’s doing!” Leon smiled in joy as he stretched out his arms up in the air. “Hey! Wipe that smile off you face! Your hiding something from me aren’t you? Go on and spill it out! What is it that you’re hiding from me?” Luka yelled at Leon as she was getting peeved off from that smile. Before Leon can say anything, Seras then shouted from the distance, “Put your hands up in the air and hold on!” Leon then gazed above him as he continued to have his hands in the air, ignoring what Luka said completely. “Hey why aren’t you saying anything?” Luka continued yelling at him, but realized he was looking at somewhere else so she looked up to where Leon was looking at as she turned around to what was behind her.
Seras was soaring down from the roof top of the first building to where both Leon and Luka where at as she flew towards them. Luka then placed her arms up in the air as she was blushing in embarrassment as she yelped out, “Never mind of what I said earlier!” Leon nodded as he continued to smile gleefully. Then as Seras was about an inch below them, both Leon and Luka clutched on to her legs as Seras was soaring back up in the air of the city into the blissful twilight. Leon clutched on to Seras’s left leg as he was holding on to it tightly. Luka grabbed on to her right leg as she was trying not to look down to where the city floor was.
About five minutes after the three escaped from the Umbrella building, they were already at the outskirts of the city as Seras flew in the air as her left wing soared, while her two remaining companions dangled clinging on to her feet. Seras then looked down below her to where her two companions are, and noticed that Leon’s monstrous form has finally awakened after being dormant for five or six years, but instead saying something to Leon about that, she asked them casually, “So, how are you guys doing so far?” “I’m fine, but I’m hanging to dear life!” Luka squealed as she clutched tighter on to Seras’s leg. “I’m fine, thanks for asking.” Leon said naturally, not noticing that Seras was actually suspecting something. As Seras continued flying, she raises her hand as she whispered to herself, “Just to be sure.” She then snapped her fingers with her right hand as she felt a sudden weight pulling her down against her left leg. She then looked down below her once more and noticed that her intuition was correct. Seras noticed that Leon had a hole through his stomach, as well as bony onyx wings and a white bony left jaw.
Seras then smiled gently as she looked down to where Leon was dangling, “So your demon form has woken up at last.” “Leon looked at her in complete shock as his widen as he calmly said, “How did you know?” “I already knew you were a monster that was created by Walter the moment that I met you, and as I continued asking you those questions, I began to realize that you were completely unaware of what you were and believing that you were still human all this time.” Seras said as she smiled cheerfully at Leon as she continued fly in the air carrying the two on her legs. “Why didn’t you say anything to me before?” Leon said solemnly as he gazed his eyes upon Seras. “We’ll let’s put it a way you can understand. Would you rather believe by seeing, or would you believe by people saying things about you when it can be half-truths?” Seras said calmly as she gazed the horizon. “Personally myself, I rather believe something by seeing it myself rather people telling it to me for my skeptic reasons.” Leon replied calmly as he expressed himself neutrally. Seras then looked back at him as she smiled cheerfully at him, “There you go then. Don’t worry about it, it does look kind of awesome if I so say so myself!”
Leon then slowly changed his neutral face back into a smile in a matter of seconds and replied happily, “You really think so?” “Yep, it really does!” Seras replied cheerfully as she smiled with her fangs showing as she continued soaring through the air, but not realizing that the weight that was on her legs is slowing her down. Leon then let go of Seras’s leg as wings spreading itself out and flew to her right side as he picked up Luka whom dangled on to her legs and flew right next to her. “Here, let me help.” Leon said calmly as he held on to Luka’s right hand with her feet dangling in the air. “Oh, thank you.” Seras said cheerfully as she grabbed onto Luka’s left hand, smiling relieved in the process. “No problem, besides it’s the most I can do for you for helping us escape from the city, and I wasn’t be able to help most of the time.” Leon smiled as he gazed through the horizon. “It’s alright, don’t put yourself as a burden, you did help us out to the best of your abilities without tell you do, and that’s all that matters.” Seras smiled gently as she looked at Leon as his froze completely at her. “Thanks, I really needed it from everyone today. Well on the positive side at least three of us made it!” Leon smiled at Seras as he felt more confident about himself as Luka dangled between them. “Well, technically speaking its only one survivor out of the whole group.” Seras smiled cheerfully as she corrected Leon as she gazed at the horizon. “But isn’t the three of us that survived the whole thing?” Leon looked at Seras as he was confused as to what Seras was getting at. “No, Seras is right, it’s one. Since technically speaking it’s three of us, knowledgably speaking if I’m correct, both and Seras aren’t considered to be among the living nor among the dead. Truly in the end, I would be considered the only survivor in the group for the reason that I’m the only one that is still among the living.” Luka intervened as she explained Seras’s say so as she placed the pieces together in a way that both can understand.
Leon then gazed the stars as he spoke naturally, “Well, it does make a little more sense once you think about it, as much as it pains to admit it.” Seras then gazed to what was in front of her and notice a crowd full of survivors from Raccoon City which appeared to be standing in a private government center. Then Seras exclaimed as she noticed the crowd which stood before them, “Hey, I think we found a salvation spot here!” “Yea, looks like it…” Leon gazed below him as he noticed the enormous crowd swarming beneath them. Luka squirmed her way through their arm as they were caught off guard. By the time they felt something slipped down between their fingers, they both looked down and noticed that Luka was already falling down to solid ground as she was squealing, “Wee!” At first they looked like they were about to scream in terror, but suddenly they saw a white parachute coming out of her book bag with large kitty ears at the top of it as Luka shouted below them as she was floating safely to the bottom, “Race you to the bottom!”
Both Leon and Seras were then looking at each other as Seras questioned herself on the situation, “Now we know that Luka safe and sound, how are we going to reach to the bottom without having the crowd to notice that we are really monsters?” “I got no idea…how are the hell are we going to get down there?” Leon looked down as he was trying to think of a solution of how to get down there without having to reveal themselves to the public. Suddenly, Seras then brainstormed an idea that might just work for the both of them, but might have its risks. She then flew over to where Leon was floating and then spoke to him naturally, “I know how are we going to get down there, it might sound a little crazy, but just follow me right here!” “Okay…” Leon replied with confusion written all over his face, unsure of what she was really saying. She then grabbed a hold of him as she cling her right arm over his shoulder as she shape shifted her left arm into a human arm that made it look exactly like her right arm. “Wait, what are we doing?” Leon looked at her in panic as he was very lost on what she was planning. “Change back into you human form right now!” Seras insisted as she clutched on to Leon tightly as she gazed back at him with neutrality. Leon then glared at the floor with millions of people beneath him, and imagining what would happen if he were to change back to his human form that would lead to a risky consequence if they were to fall through the purple shaded sky. Then he gazed his eyes back on Seras as he looked at her in disbelief, “Wait! So you wanting me to change back to my human form so that way we both can fall helplessly to the solid ground and fall to our doom?” “Like I said before, it sounds a little crazy of me to say this, but this the only shot that we have without being discovered!” Seras replied as she gazed at him calmly as she continued grab a hold onto him. Leon then hesitated for a moment as he gazed at the abyss of survivors, but then replied calmly as he then turned his attention to Seras, “It may seem risky, but if you willing to go along with it, I might as well.” Leon then snapped his fingers with his right hand as he raised it up in the air, and transformed back into a human.
Leon and Seras then fell as both of them were holding on to each other as the two squealed at the thrill of falling to ground zero. As the two continued falling, an enormous trampoline was formed beneath them that stretched over two hundred feet in both length and width, and the depth eighty feet, with metal supporters on the trampoline and a blue sheet to support buoyancy, as it was formed hours ago before their escape for army recruits to jump into the scene by helicopter for necessities for the survivors to receive, which apparently was mistaken as people by mainly Leon. The two then landed on the trampoline as they both grunted to the hard landing on the blue sheet, Leon then asked Seras he laid against the sheet of the trampoline, “Damn, that hurt! Where are we?” “Were on a trampoline, I’m guessing that due to the structure, it was built hours ago by the patrols of Raccoon City’s sanctuary.” Seras replied as the two got up from the trampoline sheet as they stood on their two feet.
The crowd noticed the two as they heard the thud of the trampoline and gazed in astonishment as the crowd talked to each other simultaneously. “Where are they staring at us?” Leon whispered as he nudged his head to the side, next to where Seras was staring. Seras then walked to a metal staircase, which was placed on one of the sides of the trampoline, to where the crowd stood, whom was still gazing at them in amazement. Then Seras walked down the staircase as she replied to him calmly, “I don’t know exactly, but we might as well get down there and find out.” Leon then followed behind her as the two walked down the stair well as the held on to the railings in precaution. By the time that the both of them reached down the stair case and touched solid land, Luka then appeared from the crowd as she then looked at she talked casually at the two, “Thank goodness you guys are alright! I was beginning to think that you would never reach down here in time!” “Never mind about that right now! Are you alright?” Leon asked as he gazed at Luka diligently. “Yea, I’m fine, I just got out of the scanning room. What took you guys so long just to get down here anyway?” Luka asked as she glared at the two, mostly Leon for his intelligent stupidity. “We were thinking of a way to get down there without being too obvious, if you know what I mean.” Seras implied as she smiled gently at Luka as Seras was the only one that stood there cheerfully. “Well that’s pretty reasonable I suppose. Say now that you two are here, what do you guys want to do?” Luka then smiled joyfully as looked at the two cheerfully with no worries at all.
Suddenly a person from the crowd then burst in to where the three where standing as she was mainly looking at Leon with a scowl on her face. She had jet black hair and azure eyes with cream colored skin and a hour glass look wearing a bun on her head, pearl earrings, a golden necklace as well as black skirt and a white blouse. “Where have you been!?” She shouted at Leon as she stomped her way through as he walked to Leon and slapped him across the face as she cursed under her breath. “Ouch…”Leon said unconsciously as the three looked at the angry woman. She then started screaming at Leon frustratingly, “Don’t ‘ouch’ me boy! Do you realize how worried I was? No note, Car gone! You could have been killed or slaughter by one of those creatures! I understand you have a job already and you would like some time with your friends, but notify me first before going out!” “Yes mom.” Leon replied as he was already been terrified by the screams of the woman. “Mom?” Seras replied as she was completely off guard by the situation. “Yep, that is Leon’s biological mother, Olivia Striffe.” Luka explained as she introduced the woman to Seras. Leon’s mother then turned her attention to Luka as she acknowledge her, “Thank you for telling me earlier Luka, I was about to get worried about my son when I notice that he was not in the house nor was he in the crowd when I came to safety. Remember you can always come to our house any time.” “Any time.” Luka replied as she smiled cheerfully back at Olivia.
Leon then frustratingly growled as he glared at Luka, “Why you..!” “Don’t get off at poor, sweet, innocent Luka here! Unlike you, she did the right thing, telling me before hand of where you were at! You should be ashamed at yourself to blame it on a child!” Olivia yelled sternly at Leon as she gave him and angry frown. Then she turned her attention to Seras as she smiled delightfully at Seras, “May I ask who is this young beautiful girl that’s standing before me?” “Oh this is Seras, she the one that I told you about that helped us escape from the city.” Luka explained to Olivia as she smiled cheerfully at her. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Olivia! I’m Seras!” Seras reached out for Olivia’s hand for a hand shake as she smiled at the beautiful woman. “It’s a pleasure to meet you too Seras! Thank you for saving both Luka and my son from those creatures and helping them escape the city! I’m really grateful for what you did for these two. If it weren’t for you, I don’t know where I would be right now.” Olivia greeted her back with a firm handshake as she acknowledged her gratitude to her good deeds. “You’re welcome.” Seras then smiled gently as she was bashfully blushing modest of the situation. “Such an angel, modest for ones deeds rather than boasting, that’s a true hero. You are welcomed at my house at any time, both you and Luka, I’m so proud for what you did for my son.” Olivia spoke gently at the two as she smiled relieved that her son was with her safe at his arms. “No problem.” Luka smiled cheerfully at the woman as she swung her body around in joy. “You’re welcome.” Seras smiled gently at the woman she felt happy in the inside.
“Mind if I ask you something Seras?” Olivia spoke calmly as the woman smiled gently at Seras. “Yes, please. Go ahead.” Seras replied nervously as she was uncertain of what the woman was about to say. Olivia then asked Seras as she spoke to her sweetly but firm. “Where are you parents? Aren’t they there with you?” “No, they’re both dead, and my guardian is too.” Seras replied as she gazed at the floor for a moment and then looked back up at Olivia. “I see. I apologize to hear that, and Luka.” Olivia then turned her attention to Luka as she was waiting for her to respond. “Where’s your adopted father? Did they find him yet?” Olivia asked Luka as she gave a concern look at her. “No, he’s already dead, so is my adopted mommy and both biological parents.” Luka replied as she looked like she was on the verge of tears.
Olivia then hesitated for a moment as she was pondering on about the situation for about two minutes in a long pause. Finally she then responded after the long moment of silence saying, “I see, so you lost both of your parents. In that case, I will adopt the both of you once we head out for the new city tomorrow.” The two girls were in shock as they heard the words come out of her mouth, entering into their ears. Leon then stood there in long silence as he paused in confusion. “Wow! You really mean it!” Luka smiled cheerfully as her eyes gazed at the woman. Olivia then nodded with a joyful smile on her face. “Yay! We can finally be sisters at long last!” Luka then squealed cheerfully as she hugged Seras tightly with her face buried in her chest. “Oh, she really is adorable! I’ll be happy to be a part of your family!” Seras replied cheerfully as she hugged Luka back as her eyes gleamed back at Olivia with joy.
“You’re welcome dear. But first things first things first…” Olivia responded with gratitude as her eyes gazed at Seras, but paused as she stared at both her and Leon with a blank face. Leon then burst out nervously as he knew what that look meant for every time that his mother gave someone a blank look at the eye, “Wait! What do we have to do first before we adopt the two? Mom, quick giving me that look, It’s giving me the creeps!” The two girls laughed at Leon, seeing that he was getting nervous of what she has to say. Then Olivia responded after the laughter from the long pause she was giving, “We have to get the two of you scanned to make sure nothing is wrong with any of you.” “Wait, who are you talking about here?” Luka looked confused as she gazed her eyes at the woman nervously. “Leon and Seras, you are disincluded because you already got your scanning done from earlier, don’t you remember?” Olivia replied as she smiled cheerfully at the girl. “Oh yeah, I did.” Luka replied as she rubbed the back of her head with her right hand, smiling nervously like a ditz.
“You two come with me, Luka even if you had your scanning done, I would like for you to come as well, I don’t trust you here by yourself, not with these creeps around.” Olivia spoke gently as she looked to where Luka was standing as both Seras and Leon walked closer to Olivia. “Okay.” Luka replied innocently as she huddled to Olivia and stood beside her. Then the four walked together to the private government facility building, where the scanning took place. Leon wasn’t too thrilled of the scanning idea, for he felt less confortable for he knew what you happen if the government were to know, or even his mother. Luka whistled cheerfully as she skipped to the building cheerfully as she was beside Olivia. Olivia walked calmly with an iron stone face as she waltz into the building with the other three in the group. Seras, whom walked with them silently, was nervous of what would happen if the government were to know of their whereabouts as well as their actions that will be made once they knew. But then Seras smiled cheerfully as they headed for the door as she had the hunch that everything will be alright at the end.
As the entered into the government facility to take their scans, the government officials did not find any signs of the T-Virus or any of the symptoms they found in the creatures bodies. However, when the scanned through the C.A.T. scan, they found other abnormalities in Leon’s and Seras’s body that were of origins to that in Umbrella Corp. and both were asked how long have they been affected for. Their answers stunned the officials as they were told that Seras was infected for about a couple days while Leon responded five to six years, with stunned them even more. Then Leon’s mother, Olivia asked how long does it take for Umbrella’s infections to spread completely and make them into one of the creatures she just saw in the city. The scientist that was with them, who was ironically the new head scientist that was working under Umbrella Corp., whom was actually an undercover agent working for the government stated the complete spreading of the infection to be three hours. Olivia then was shocked at the results as she gasped in devastation, while the government was stunned even more, surprised how they can still behave like a regular human being after all of this time.
Then curious, one of the officials asked how come that they had the virus for an extended amount of time and can still be alive. Then both Leon and Seras had to tell them that they weren’t alive and that they really were experiments of Walter Sullivan. At first, the officials didn’t believe them, and then as the two explained as they showed them the evidence, they became more convinced, yet scared at the same time. Olivia then was shocked at the news as she then scowled at Leon as she started lecturing at Leon, mainly for his stupidity and his ex. Seras on the other hand, was sympathized by Olivia for really, her being experimented on was planned by the head himself with no remorse, not by her actions. The government officials discussed it over at a small meeting at for what to do with them. When the meeting was over, the governments final decision was to let them live, for they did not cause harm towards any of the civilians, nor did they follow Walter Sullivan’s orders or plot, as the government told them that he was a convicted man on charges guilty of murdering his wife on first degree.
But then the government officials offered a position in the new city in replacement of the bombed Raccoon City as high ranking S.T.A.R.S. patrol that are in charge of secret undercover missions to protect human society and destroy threating targets that comes across the new city. Both Leon and Seras accepted the offer as they will themselves to protect any being from any incidents, such as the one in Raccoon City to reoccur over time. At first, Olivia was unsure of it, but after a bit of thought she agreed to the idea. Luka will be attending school in a high gifted program in Rose Garden High. Olivia then asked one of the government officials, whom ironically were in charge of the adoption papers nationwide if she can adopt Luka and Seras as her daughters. At first the official was unsure of her idea, but then after some convincing, the official agreed to sign the papers and Olivia officially adopted the two as her daughters.
Scene VII
Three days later on a cloudy day with black clouds, the four entered into the grave yard in the new city, which was named ‘Angel’s Gate’. Olivia wore a black dress that reached all the way to her ankles with white lace embroidery around the collar, with her hair neatly tied in a bun, carrying a black lace umbrella covering her head and black pumps. Luka wore a black Lolita dress with a white lace collar and cuffs on the sleeves with a white underskirt and a black tie attached to the collar with black ribbons on the sides of her head that complemented the locks with sensible black shoes and black stockings. Leon wore a black tuxedo with a black rose corsage on his side pocket. Seras wore a black dress that reached to her knees in the front and to the ankles on the back with black lace embroidery with a black cross collar which complemented the outfit, black gloves to complement the ribbon sleeves, a black hat with a veil surrounding her face, black stockings and black sensible shoes as she carried a bouquet of black roses. They all had solemn faces as the came across to grave stones sitting beside each other.
Olivia then spoke quietly as her voice sounded like she was on the verge of tears, “Those poor things…they never had a chance to actually live a happy life together, such a horrible way to die. May they rest in peace now.” Olivia then mourned for the tomb stones that stood right before her weeping. Luka then stared deep at the tombstones as she looked down at it solemnly, and spoke with grief in their voice, “At least you are in a better place now, resting peacefully. Please be there for me while I attend school and when I am in need, even though you no longer there.” Luka then started wailing hysterically as she wept in her tears as she stood behind her. “Leon, do you think they are in a better place now?” Seras asked as she looked solemnly as she stared at the graves as she was at the verge of tears. “Yea, they’re probably enjoying their new lives there in peace, away from this noisy place.” Leon replied was he stared down at the graves, moping. “After all the despair that they have suffered through in their lives, they can finally be at peace in their resting places.” Seras said gently as she placed the bouquet of flowers between the tomb stones, as it sitting next to each other. Leon then stood closer to Seras as she was done placing the flowers amongst the two tombstones.
The tombstones that stood before them as the one in the left read, ‘Here lies Howard Gearhart, age deceased: 26, an infected victim to Raccoon City’s disaster and was shot through the head.” The one on the right read, “Here Lies Clarabell Lockhart, age deceased: 26, fallen murder victim of Walter Sullivan, impaled through the womb by a Jim Bowie dagger.” Suddenly, a gust of wind swooped from the distance carrying the dead leaves as it passed the two tombstones. Olivia and Luka walked away from the graves and exited out of the cemetery as the waited by the iron gates for Leon and Seras to leave with them. Then a shimmering light from the clouds traveled through the distance as it shined on the two tombstones, Leon and Seras, whom stood before it. “The end of the old, and the dawn of anew.” Seras said softly as she gazed her eyes toward the light. “A new day.” Leon spoke naturally as he gazed his eyes to the light as the light began to shimmer more. Slowly, as the light faded away, the two walked away from the tombstones silently as they exited out of the cemetery through the iron gates. Leon was the first one to exit out of the gates as he walked to both Olivia and Luka and stood beside them. Seras then glimpsed back at the cemetery one last time at she gazed at the two tombstones. Then saw the apparitions of both Clarabell, before the wound, and Howard, before he became Nemesis, as the two spirits waved at her as she smiled at her. Seras then waved back without the other three noticing as she smiled gently at them. Then when the apparitions disappeared, Seras then turned her attention to were the other three were as she gently closed the gate behind her as she walked to Leon, Olivia, and Luka as the four left the cemetery together.
