"Bravest lass I ever met in my life. Ogres, monster-men, old gods, she ain't afraid of nothin'. Things that could make the most seasoned vet s**t themselves, she just charges them head on like it's an everyday thing for her.... Huh... Probably is, now that I think about it." ~ Garim to Varic, following the Seeker's interrogation.Full Name: Aryana Surana Nickname: Arya
Race: Elf Class: Mage Specializations: Arcane Warrior | Spirit Healer | Battlemage
Age: Unknown Gender: Female Orientation: Bisexual Status: Warden Commander of Ferelden
Hair Color: Dark-Red Eye Color: Light Green Height: 5'5'' Build: Short, Lean Garments/Armor: Arya normally wears her white and blue heavy armor plate set, though does wear the Grey Warden Uniform to specific events.
Dragon Age: Origins Choices: ~ Connor lives ~ Prince Bhelen throned ~ Ashes revealed ~ Mages saved ~ Loghain slain ~ Alistair throned ~ Accepted ritual
Personality: Arya is.... one of a kind. She's childish, calculating, and leadership all packed into one small package. She's fiercely loyal to Alistar, Mir, and Garim, and will do anything in her power to protect them if need be. As the Warden-Commander and Alistar being the King of Ferelden, she knows Alistar must appease by seeing some Orliasian princess... Empress-to-be... whatever... but does not have any quarrels with having a bit of... 'fun' with her either. For fighting, she's all about the swordplay that Garim and Mir taught her and using magic to aid her allies. For spells outside of her specializations, she's particularly skilled at the Spirit, Arcane, and Creation schools.
Special Talents: Arya is a unique case as a mage, in that she is a host, but not to any demon. The spirits of Temperance, Fortitude, Faith, Justice, Hope, Prudence, and Love melded into one and allowed her to tap into their combined might to help defeat Urthemiel. She can now use this power, not as an abomination, but as a... vassal
History: Aryana Surana spent her days before the being in the Circle within Lothering, usually playing with a young boy, Caelem, who's sister was a mage in secret. It wasn't until Arya was a little older that Arya discover she had the potential to use magic herself, which amped up the pranks and goof-offs the trio (Including Caelum's brother, Carver) pulled. However, during one prank gone wrong, it was obvious that magic was involved. To shield Bethany from the templars, Arya covered for her, saying it was herself that caused the mini fire.
Before the story that would eventually etch her life in the history books, her life in the Circle Tower was... hectic. When she wasn't using the tower's library to study lost forms of magic, she was practicing. When doing neither, she was sleeping. This was her life for the years to come. She wanted to get stronger, but not out of greed, or pride, or anything like that. She simply wanted to be the best she could be. Her unnatural touch with Creation spells caught the eye of First Enchanter Irving, and it was this that he offered to mentor her. Through this, she honed her magic prowess, and became the go-to mage when apprentices, or even Circle Mages, were harmed during practices or exams. She was also known to have one of the biggest hearts of the tower, helping whoever, whenever, however she could. This even included the templars, which surprised many.
After the end of the Fifth Blight and those that banded together to slay Urthemiel dispersed, Arya stayed with Alistair for a time, helping him keep what little peace he could grab in the aftermath. Then she visited the Circle Tower to help them rebuild. Finally, she began rebuilding the Grey Warden forces in Ferelden and crushed the remnants for the Fifth Blight until not a single genlock remained. She did drop by to say hello to old friends from time to time, but her life has become increasingly difficult. Just recently, she discovered her old childhood playmate survived Lothering destruction. And now tension grows between Orlais and Ferelden. So much to do, so little time.

"Before his exile, he was the Aeducan almost everyone loved. He was a people person, he drank, he fought. When I met him at the Joining, I instantly thought: 'Now that's a guy I can get along with.' Had a pair the size of his ax." ~ Mir
Full Name: Garim Aeducan
Nickname: N/A
Race: Dwarf
Class: Warrior
Specializations: Berserker | Champion
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Orientation: Straight
Status: Grey Warden | Surfacer | Paragon
Hair Color: Light Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 4'8''
Build: Muscular
Garments/Armor: Garim wears his brown and metal gray armor no matter where he is or is going. He never dresses to impress, he dresses to be prepared for anything.
Dragon Age: Origins Choices: ( See Arya's Choices )
Personality: Garim is very much the warrior, and the drinker, and the prideful dwarf that he is. He'd rather conversate by plunging the blade of an axe into the opponent. He's the first in, last out, and enjoys 'impossible odds' challenges.... because those are the only challenges he ever gets.
Special Talents: During his exile, pre-Paragon status, he trekked the Deep Roads for a long time, enough to know ever nook and cranny of the place. When you need a guide for the down below, you go to him.
History: Garim was the middle child of Endrin's three children, and the most popular. He wasn't a snob. He acted like a commoner. He actually visited Tapster's Tavern frequently and drank like any other dwarf. He fought in the Provings like any other dwarf. He'd always been like this, and his second, Gorim, always followed right behind. This was until Garim's first military command.
Through plotting by the youngest of the Aeducans, Bhelen, the oldest, Trian was slain, and Garim was framed, sentencing to exile into the Deep Roads, where he was expected to die. Through luck and many darkspawn bodies, he was found by a traveling Grey Warden group, and brought to Ostagar where he went through the Joining. While Alistair, Aryana, and Mir went to the Tower of Ishal during the battle, Garim stayed on the battlefront, and fought until he couldn't stand anymore. Through quick thinking when the darkspawn made a sweep to check for survivors, he played dead, then was dragged away. When just out of sight from the main horde, he broke free, killed his captors, and made his way to Lothering, where he regrouped with the remaining Grey Wardens, plus Morrigan.
When their travels led them to Orzammar, they got wiry looks. When they went through the Commons and Diamond Quarter, wiry looks. When they approached the Assembly to request aid, wiry looks, some even berated Garim on sight. When he explained what happened, Arya did something no one ever done to the Assembly before: she cursed them out. It made Garim laugh a bit, but he assured them he wasn't there as an exile, but as a warden; he couldn't care less about the political bullshit. Going through the tasks to find Branka, Garim was allowed the choice, to which he thought a long while about, ultimately crowning the very man that framed him. It was because Bhelen knew how to play the game of Dwarven Politics, and knew the necessity of earning your worth, rather than being born into said worth. Garim's daughter was named Anika, who was born shortly before Garim returned with the wardens to the surface.
He now spends his time going between the Deep Roads and suspected darkspawn locations as found by Aryana. He has also secretly watches his girl grow into a fine warrior.
