Would you rather be in a lonesome place with one good friend and an awesome job? Or would you rather be in an exciting place with no friends and a job you hate?
It's around 10:00pm for me now. I just came back from classes... exhausted. D| When I got out of the car, my seatbelt got stuck and I struggled with it for a couple of moments. And that, my friends, is the reason behind people drowning when they drive their car into a lake.
I just found out about some of my test scores, and I'm pretty happy about it. Loads better than my scores at the beginning of the year. I hope they start evening out soon.
My grandma's visiting from Taiwan, so I'll get to see her soon.
On the topic of Taiwan:
My mom keeps on telling me to get work experience, and then we can move to Taiwan together. The only problem with this is that I cannot major in Humanities, even though I like Humanities better than Biology or something more math/science related.
I've always felt somewhat of a sore thumb, a fish out of water when it comes to my school--which happens to be very good, and which is why it is not unusual for you to get total geniuses hanging out, laughing and debating about tangents. But the downside of that statement is how people look down on anything which is not math or science related. It is a common belief around here that if you are not planning to major in math or science, you will not be successful in life. Just ask my dad, who, when my sister was applying to colleges, unfailingly spent thirty minutes each day with my sister over the course of the summer to persuade her not to apply to an art college. News flash! Art students get jobs! They do not live their lives like Vincent Van Gogh! =.= (Though for his fame, it must just be worth it.)
