Log entry #1: Subject: Rules 10/3/11
If a Pkmn faints it is dead. All potions and all items are permissible.
You may only catch the first Pkmn you encounter in a new area. If you don’t have any balls due to your inability to obtain them because of an in game post prologue it is irrelevant. You forfeit the chance automatically.
Gift Pkmn may only be kept if they are the approximate level as your current champ with a deviation of ten levels. Received Charlotte the Pansage.
Legendary and level 5 latecomers die without reservation. Unlimited grinding.
If you do not catch a grass type by the time you reach the gym which requires it and there always is one. You must tough it out with a Fire type at least 5 levels above the Gym Leaders’ champion. In other words, his best Pkmn. Research is permissible.

I am Bound. Please welcome Gaara the Tepig. I’ve met Cheren and Bianca and began the prologue. Professor Juniper is the Pkmn Professor in this world of Jenova. I mean Unova.
And there you have it. First Encounter was a Patrat. Patrat fainted. No further Pkmn will be caught on Route 1.
I was nearly concerned that Gaara would faint! I have to admit they are succeeding in bringing back some of that old tension. Remember the first time you played Pokemon Blue? Well, I do. 
I plan to grind Gaara until he can virtually kill anything on Route 1 with one hit.
Bought 5 potions cause I can use potions any old time. Hehe. I already have 5 pokeballs but I think I’ll buy one more for good measure bringing my grand total to six. Aren’t numbers wonderful? Save.
The next Pkmn available to me will be on Route 2. I’m Accumula Town at the moment and Ghetsis is delivering an address. Who could this odd dictator be? The Leader of Team Plasma, apparently. If by Pkmn you mean to capture for glory and pride, “I say we let ‘im go!!!”
Near, I mean “N” can hear the thoughts of Pkmn. How strange. Fighting N. He’s a bit of nut. Defeated his Purrloin. Gaara is level 8 now. Gaara is level 9 now. Gaara is level 10 now. Gaara is level 11 now. Should I evolve before the first gym? Hmm….
Pokemon available on Route 2 are Patrat, Lillipup and Purrloin. Talking with my mom real quick and then I can go get my first caught Pkmn on Route 2. Fail. Lillipup fainted.
I ran into an area referred to as the Dreamyard. I was gifted a Pansage and I named her Charlotte. Everyone say hello and welcome Charlotte! Apparently there is grass in here. I’ll try to catch the first Pkmn I see. New area! ^_^ … a stupid Patrat? I killed it. I swear it was an accident…
Defeated my first gym leader with a shining success and no casualties. Pokemon are two for two. Fennel who is Dr. Juniper’s emo scientist friend took me upstairs in her room and we did some cutting and then made out. Not really but there you go.
New Route in which to catch my first, lol Route 3. But, what will it be? Should I first research Route 3? Decisions Decisions Some Zebra thingy. I killed it.
Wellspring cave it is! Caught! Everyone please meet Angus the Roggenrola!
-sob-  Angus was killed in action on Route 3 just down the way from Wellspring Cave. Farewell my new friend. I hardly knew ya… Angus the Roggenrola has been released. First casualty. Stupid Zebra thingies.

I’ll run into Cheren and Bianca for ‘Boss Fights’ later.
First Gym: I recommend being at least level 16 for this fight. (Research is always allowed)
New area! Pinwheel Forest! Attempting… (This does not include the outlining area, already killed the the Outer Area Pkmn. razz
Defeated Lenora the Normal user. I almost lost Charlotte. Talking to Blargh who is the Gym Leader of a town or two away I’m guessing. Ooh, if this is the first encounter for Inner Pinwheel Forest I get a chance right now! Just got ye olde Dowsing Machine from Bianca… Save.
Okay…going through the Forest…owning Trainers as I go. The First Pkmn I encounter is mine for the taking…Sewaddle…man I love fire…types.
I decided to take time out from my busy schedule to head home. Professor Juniper gave me False Swipe. How nice of her. Dot Dot Dot… neither Charlotte nor Gaara can learn it… -_-
First encounter in Pinwheel Forest (Interior)…caught! Let’s give a warm welcome to Sinatra the Pidove. New York, New York it’s a hell of a town! Don’t worry. I won’t kill this one like Angus. R.I.P. Angus.
Sinatra evolved into Tranquill!!! Pokemon play on words yet again. razz
Went up against Burgh the Gym Leader. Burnt to a crisp!
Route 4! It took a while but here we are. I brushed aside Bianca and Cheren. No surprise here. Time to either Catch or KILL my next team member! Let’s do this thing! Welcome Siddhartha the Darunaka!
Please welcome Stephanie the Sandile! It was random and I just changed zones. Yay me!
Not much to report. Running around in the desert grinding and owning trainers.
Went to the New Town which is called… Ran into N. He took me on the Ferris wheel and confessed his love for me. “I want to tell you… ‘I’m N!’” –Death Note Reference—Apparently, N is working with Team Plasma. Team Plasma if you don’t already known is an evil pharmaceutical company hell-bent on curing diseases. –shudders—
Yes! I took a gamble on Siddhartha and it paid off! He earned his level 26 fair and square. Well done, Siddhartha!
Stephanie has been lost. R.I.P. Stephanie.  Her murderer was something called a Scraggy.
N was defeated and has just confessed to being the Black/White equivalent of Gary Oak. “If your conviction is not strong enough, you will never be able to defeat me.”
“You’ll never defeat me, little brother. Your hate’s not strong enough. And you know something? You never will!” (I’m just sayin’. It’s the E for everyone equivalent of Itachi’s rant.)
