Today started off like many of the others, got to work at 7am with less sleep than I should have. Health and Safety inspector finally showed up! I can see why Andy and company were so worried about it for the longest time. It's not like our facility is dirty, it's one of the cleanest around. It's just that the inspectors pick out every stupid little thing and I guess it can be very stressful for the supervisor escorting him around.

Work ended eventually, cut through Harris Hill Elementary on my way to the bank. School was in session which I didn't think about. Felt odd walking through the center of the bus ring while parents were zipping in and out picking up their children which were as friggin tall as high school freshman.

Got home, took a nap.
So, getting slowly to the title. I've been having problems with my WoW installations for a while now, while I'm playing the graphics would just seize up as if an object wasn't loading correctly. I tried making a copy of the installation. Oh look, 10GB of files that won't copy. That sounds busted.
Spent a week downloading and replacing those files, and the thing still seizes up.
So, I finally got sick of it. Fortunately, I brought my internal hard drive from my desktop to Clarence with me. My sister still had her desktop here, so I used that to rip the old installation onto my portable HDD.
So I sat in her room waiting out the 25 min for the files to copy. As I sat there I looked around and thought. Wow, I never payed much attention to my sister. She had crashed on her bed with her laptop in front of her. Looked so innocent laying there, I'm used to seeing her as, well, the person who causes problems between mother and eventually indirectly bothers me. It humanized her in a way that sadly I never noticed. I actually felt like being an older brother for once, although I can't just walk into her life now. I don't think I would be all that comfortable with it anyways.

But that was today. Another one by, let's see if this other WoW installation works. Just finished updating as soon as I started this sentence.
