It's such a strange thing, this thing called destiny. Some regard it as a virtue, others regard it as a threat, and yet there are times when no one is sure which it is. Also fate seems strange, especially when the world concerned is one that has magic. Some try to keep destiny and fate on the course it is set on, and others try to stop it. All I can say is, fate and destiny could very well be even more fickle than the winds. The good and bad in it does vary from person to person, but the variations are dependent on perspective and what the fate and/or destiny are in the first place. That, and also the question of what exists and what doesn't in a world of magic. This world where there's no known magic and science abounds in the eyes of many, differing opinions cause a clash that it's hard to find anything uniform and certain when trying to figure out if magic exists or not in any way.
