KirbyVolt and his companions had successfully made it to the Beat Mesa, surprisingly with little difficulty. KirbyVolt dismounted his Warp Star to approach his game companions: A human boy with a crazy long hairstyle, donning a hat that was familiar to his past self; a small dragon girl who seemed to have been waiting a long time; a goofy male pony with thick black glasses; and blue cat.
What the most bizarre ragtag group ever. KirbyVolt was also a Kirby, in case people forgot! The jade dragon approached her comrade. "This better work," she said. "I never wanted to be leader," KV groaned. "I wouldn't mind leading, but I'd probably be terrible at it," the tan pony said as he flopped down onto the apparatus. "I can't believe none of you were human," the boy said. "This is just the craziest thing ever." "I told you a million times I'm a Kirby!" KV said. "Do we have all the stuff?" "Yeah, we do," the dragon said. "We're seriously going to do this?" "Yeah," KV said. "It's the only way."

KV took out his sword and infused it with the items his comrades had gathered and went over the scratch of the disc. The scratch began glowing. KV gave a big smirk as the all faded into the glow. The apparatus began spinning like crazy, and slowed down... before speeding up and letting the players all disappear.
Meanwhile, on the pre-scratched Derse, Kent was already losing in a fight against Shades Slick. He had been knocked through quite a few buildings already, and the crazy guy was showing no sign of stopping. He charged at Kent with his katana and began to slice at him. Kent parried with his feet, knocking the sword out of his hand. He ninja-faded back to the sword and lunged at Kent again.
Kent was on the ground and not able to recover. He closed his eyes as it seemed like Shades was slowly going to stab him and finish the job... When suddenly it seemed like something had emerged from Kent, in the form of a little orange Kirby with long green hair. He clashed swords with Shades and gave a big glee of joy. A worthy opponent!
Shades retreated back and the Kirby helped Kent up. The Kirby was none other than KV, the mysterious stranger that Kent had talked to an hour ago. He gave Kent a wink and flew off toward Shades, ready to engage in a duel to the death. Their swords kept clashing in a barrage of strikes. KV was able to keep the speed up with Shades easily, and even stole Shade's baseball cap and placed it on his head backward. Shades jumped onto the top of a tower, and KV jumped to one adjacent. Kent got up and started flying, channeling the powers he had just been bestowed, and found that they were aiding KV.
Shades growled at KV and gave him the thumbs down, his sword behind his back. KV just gave him a smiling glare, holding his sword above his head and twirling it. The two lunged at each other, the outcome of this would have to wait...
On Skaia, Tony was united with a new trusty mount, which he planned to use to take out the thousands of imps upon the battlefield. The pony nodded and the two rushed off into battle.
Above the sky of Prospit, the dragon from KV's group had united with her former self and the two teamed up to journey to the next realm of the game. They were met immediately by Hats Boxcars, who they incinerated using their powers instantly.
Drag Droog was getting information about all these events with his comrades, and was shocked to hear of the offing of another one of his friends. He decided to even the odds by going to Derse to help Shades Slick. Their leader slowly approached Droog to complete this task, as she was not pleased with these current events. Droog hissed at his master and ran off to take care of what needed to be done.
KV and Slick's fight continued, causing Slick to get severely injured as KV cut his arm off, all while still being channeled by Kent's power. Slick tried to lunge at Kent to finish his job, but KV would keep intervening, and even taunting as he threw Slick's hat into the air and sliced it up, a devilish grin on his face. Slick was furious and retaliated in a fashion that made him easy to block.
Droog arrived on the battlefront and aimed for Kent, ready to fire. Kent had a bizarre sense that alerted him of Droog's presence, which signaled KV to stop toying. KV and Slick lunged at each other one more time, but the outcome was no stalemate.
KV chopped Slick's head straight off his shoulders, and threw it at Droog. He then took Slick's body and carved something in it and threw it at Droog as well.
KV hopped over to Kent and sat on his back, motioning to go. Kent flew off toward Skaia leaving Droog with his final comrade's dead body. The message that KV had enscribed was, "TELL THE DOC THAT WE'RE HERE. THE GAME IS FAR FROM OVER ^(~_^~)^"
Droog hissed at the corpse and tried to shoot at Kent again. But it was too late. Kent and KV had flown off faster than his gun could reach. Three agents down, and only one to go. KV and his friends had made it into the old session. The rules would now change drastically.
