Life is a Boat (song)
Someone made a cover of the English "Life is a Boat" song

Now, I don't use the English one, and from finding this, since the video I used was taken down and I have to find another lyrics video, I know what the song means xD;

Anyway, I thought she was fine! C: I love her voice o.o I didn't mind she wasn't steady at one volume and tone all throughout at all! In fact, it's part of the good quality >//u//< It's lovely ~

From hearing this, it made me almost want to record myself to see what I sound like > >;;;;.

When I tried to sing the video, I tried to sound like the song but, you know, I could be heavily wrong; one's ears is closer to one's mouth, so to one, one might sound louder than they actually are. I wonder c: I'll practice later < < Making it accurate is too fun. From listening to this (saw this before the English cover), I felt I need to work on my singing or I'll be shunned ; A;

-never did a "cover" or sang before, might be scarred if attempts to 8D-

Then again, I might be overreacting. Might. I know, trust in and have faith in humans, and the majority of people are nice, but seriously, have you seen some people? Hatred is not mandatory ._. Flinging words is not mandatory. Listening to the song is not mandatory ; - ;

The alright Japanese cover I listened to. I couldn't help but distinguish the accent o o e. I thought it was very good with that hint I felt o.o. Then I couldn't help but notice the "English is not my native language" where it sometimes doesn't fit when speaking the English, and it doesn't fit with the Japanese either o - o. Otherwise, I wouldn't have commented anything except "good! o u o"

Mog, yellow text. Why is there no lyrics video? ='( I love this. Her voice is beautiful.

No one has heard but I hope I don't sound bad o.o. I'm a calm person, though I can panic because I feel anxious, and I may have an accent when I spoke the Japanese. It would explain the smoothness and why I like saying it/hearing it c: I've been complimented, well, by two guys, lol, on my calmness in situations.

One told me 'Wow' when he and I were hanging out after I joined him and a mutual friend for dinner at A&W even though I already ate.

(I was busing home. I hadn't noticed until, minutes after I entered the bus but a few seconds after the bus drove off, I turned my head to see him standing right in front of me and we had this "Oh my god, hey!" kind of talk xD. Apparently, he saw me, couldn't believe it, thought it was me, confirmed it, and came to say hi. We hadn't seen each other in a year because of different schools. He told me he was meeting *his name* at A&W and asked me if I wanted to join them. I called my mom to ask her if I could go, then tell her I wasn't going home yet.)

While walking me home (<3) (Isn't that sweet and chivalrous? *He* suggested it because they're boys and I'm a girl; my friend agreed to the idea, and so did I), around ten minutes from the A&W, *he* took his bus home so it was just my friend and I.

But before *he* left, that night, some people in a car, apparently, driving around on a Saturday night (I forgot about that; it explains the egg incident and the crazy people -rolls her eyes-), were sometimes throwing eggs (not hard-boiled, the ones with yolk and egg white inside).

One hit my leg - when two guys were there beside me so that I was the farthest away from the street, lol. I think it was because we were walking at an angle at that time and the projected object (not egg?) must have passed them. We were just walking when I felt something hard hit my leg like it was thrown really hard from somewhere, but I kept walking. A few minutes later, it sort of bothered me so I kind of leaned down, while somewhat walking, to slightly quickly rub my injured flesh to prevent a bruise. You're supposed to rub to prevent it from hurting later because of the bruise = 3 = The men beside me noticed, lol. We stopped walking altogether and I casually started to explain to them what happened, still focused on my nonexistent bruise, then straightened my back up, continuing my explanation. We talked, walked .. before my friend left for the bus.

My friend stayed with me, walking me home, cause I asked him. My friend had asked me if I still wanted him to walk with me or not. The company would be fun. Besides, I hate walking at night, it's creepy. Later, he was almost-obsessing over the fact that some people thrown eggs out of the car when we saw a few egg shells scattered by a bus station. This happened twice lol. We were walking on the same street, down the same side of the street; we passed two bus stops where it had egg shells. Both he noticed while I didn't, and the second bus stop of that night must have faded his patience.

Meanwhile, I remained quiet, watching him feel nearly angry and frustrated. I commented something (I forget what it was) and because I was only talking to him, he eventually noticed how collected I was.(I used 'eventually' because I don't remember how the conversation exactly went.) He felt surprised and voiced his surprise with "Wow', "I can't believe", and you know. Me being a modest person, all I did was smile and like the comments and compliments xD. That and I input some sense and some sentences because I saw he was feeling angry. He wanted to figure out what was going on and to stop them. He was telling me we should have seen a license plate o.o Being so calm, I could see he was serious c:& ;;

Later that week, I was telling someone about what happened^ Concerned about me, he asked me if I was alright. I answered. But that wasn't all that happened between us. Feeling impressed and surprised that I took the incident well, he told me it's a good thing to be so calm in those situations. o u o

Even without that "proof", do you see me not calm by the way I talk right now and every other time? You don't have to answer that. As I was saying, the song "Life is a Boat" has a soft, soothing quality. My voice is not high so I think I might be alright. I'm guessing, really, though. Thanks for listening!
