Tia, was relaxed. it wasn't often she got to really rest her phobia's took care of that, and to boot there aren't really any soft beds on the roadside. she stood up stretching and yawning, her extra eyes blinked giving her more in depth view of the room than silly three dimensional human eyes. but that reminded her in the night she had switched back to her true form. it was nice after being stuck as a human for so long. she whould have to again get used to more than two legs. she dressed quickly leaving the clothes she wore as a human behind for now later she would return for them, and taking her crystal staff.
she glanced over the stone that formed it, a black rock native to her homelands. similar to the red crystal, while the staff itself was not enchanted the rock and crystal naturally amplified magic. she smiled, squeezing through the door frame and soon outside. the snow didn't bother her so much but the cold did make her drowsy like before. she shivered and muttered a spell to keep the air around her warm, something she had practiced many times. one day she would remember to cast it before stepping outside. by that time her eyes had adjusted to the light and she could see kale standing in the middle of the square, he was waiting. she could assume for her, she glanced around reverently searching for humans for a reason to hide or to run, but strangely the square was clear she assumed that most people would be at the party by now
