Mom told me to do the laundry and that's exactly what I did, before I heard my bro's footsteps, signalling that he came back. And he's crying, his face all squinted up in ugly poses and he make this stupid child-like noises.

I didn't say anything. Dad came out of the house and asked what the hell happened. He guessed he fell or something but no.

"Amin pulled a prank on me. He scared me..."

I had to restrained myself from laughing and slapping him hard on the cheek. Like, seriously? If a boy's trying to prank you, it means he wants to be your friend, but if this is how you're going to react...

Honestly, he's like... what? Eleven? That's old enough to just laugh at yourself every time you got yourself pranked.

No wonder he's got no friends. So, Dad told him to defend himself and blah blah.
