This one left me thinking that the Zurg would be included in this plot event. It would have been awesome if they appeared. o: .... But then when people reminded me that we have our own version of the Mayans sitting in zOMG... well... now I'm sad that they didn't appear in this plot. ;~;

Four Ponies of the Apocalypse
This item made a lot of people happy. It's the most expensive of these items so far. The MLP fans are happy. And I've seen a lot of posts by people saying that, of all days to miss an item, this was the day that they didn't collect. And they're saddened. Not my style since I don't use animal companions anymore but it's still funny.

This one made me laugh the most. Well, yeah, it's an old joke by now... about how the twinkies that were supposed to survive an apocalypse went out of business before the apocalypse... yadda yadda. I understand that these were hoarded. I just don't understand why I couldn't get a pose with a single twinkie.

This has been my fav item so far. It's the one that will best fit with the outfits I make. ...And that's really saying something about the other items. > <

Holiday Bunker
Ha. Funny. You see, I always figured I'd have to trade in my 12 items for a bunker. And they just gave me one. Suckers! ...But yeah, seriously, I'm pretty sure we won't have alchemy like we did last year. I just don't know what else these 12 items would turn into.
EVENT PARTICIPATION ITEMS:
Blargh. They've been tinkering with the meter. First it was 100 points, then 1000 points and now 300 points. 300 seems good. I'm sad I missed that 100 point time. u .u
Anyhoo~ the goal is to earn cheer to fill up an ornament. It takes 300 points to fill each ornament. Once the ornament is full, you can choose to redeem or destroy that ornament. You earn items and achievements according to the number of ornaments redeemed or destroyed
Methods:
Each post = 10 points (3.33%)
Each donation (to dumpster dive) = 10 points (3.33%)
Each gift = 100 points (33.3%)
Each carol = nothing
Finish 22 carols = 300 points (100%)
So, in short, to fill the bar you need:
30 posts, 30 donations, 3 gifts and/or one round of caroling
So far, I feel that it's best to give gifts as you carol. You get ornaments for every 3 gifts sent. Then just make sure to have an empty meter before you sing your 22nd carol. Poof! Instant ornament! =D And then the process starts over.
This is the first year that caroling is attached to the main event in some way. I think it's nice (especially because I have to carol anyway). Also, this process is soooo much better than that year that we were feeding items into the engine of Sin and Overseer's airship. @ .@; That process took foreverrrrrrrr. This event will still take me a while, but it's so not as tedious.
Pay attention to your meter. Once it gets to 100%, it stops filling. If you don't redeem/destroy that ornament, you're just wasting potential energy as you complete activities. (Also, it's not worth finishing a carol when your meter is already at 90%. You're just getting 10% out of that round instead of a potential 100%.)
And don't forget to do a bit of dumpster diving. <.< >.> Maybe some of the other users have given away some great items in the xmas spirit (or laziness). And, if you don't like what you get, heck, donate or gift it away~

Caroling Items
Caroling started Thursday night. (12 am Friday) For the first 12 hours or so, the caroling event was giving out last year's items. It's been fixed now though.
There are 8 total items. Caroling works the same as it did for H2k12. You must carol 22 times at 22 different shops. For the first time, the shops are marked. O: There's a little music note on the shops you haven't visited yet. This makes caroling soooo much easier. @ .@ It really sucks to accidentally miss one and then have to click through all the shops again to find the one you missed.
I'm in love with this year's caroling items. o wo They're girly (as usual) so I'm not sure how the guys will like this update. The items are red/green/cream. They won't be easy to match, but the yellow on last year's items was harder to work with. There are also lots of items that are both red and cream. So let's just hope that they don't clash.

Towns 2 is out. This is a relatively new platform sooo there's no caroling in Towns this year. Only animated snow.
