Professional Drifter

In 2020 the Government took a poll to see how much people traveled. The poll came up zero; this meant that no one travel more then 100 miles away from there home at any given time. This was the result, of all the threats of terrorism, hate crimes, murders, etc… being reported in the news every day, people finally realized it would be safer to just say home.

This of course destroyed the economy, and relations with other states on countries. So in order to fix the problem, increase the job market, fix the economy, and gain the peoples trust in traveling again the government created the "professional drifter." There was no prerequisites or requirement for this job only to travel everywhere, see everything, and tell as many people as possible to entice them into seeing such thing for themselves instead of just looking them up on the internet. The money from the drifter was meant to build local economies as well as the national economy. Drifter could choose to travel alone or in a group.

The pay was a locked $10 and hour, for all 24 hours of the day, the money it wired into an account that is accepted in any country or state.
Perks: You can go where ever, when ever you want, you don't have to report to a supervisor, or worries about money, its a forever vacation.
Common Complaints: Mugged, kidnapped for strange experiments, horror movie victim, missing organs, poisoned, killed, heat stroke, lacking knowledge of local customs or dialects, having no place to call home, drowning, eaten alive, disappearing into a missing person's file, hit by cars, car crashes, and forgetting to use sunscreen.

Hm, hm, ideal job.

My ideal job is actually what I wish to pursue in the near future. Right now, it's just fantasy to me, because I'm not there yet, but I digress. Let me see, some other fictional, ideal job... I would still like to do something related to designing couture clothing in an entrepreneurial endeavour.

Introduction -- Really, I just would like to design clothing without any financial or editorial constraints. If I didn't have any of these restrictions, I would like to design countless collections to my heart's content. I would commission the construction of my own palace somewhere and store each piece in it. Salaries and perks wouldn't matter to me, because I would be doing what I feel the everyday compulsion to do; of course, this would be an ideal job because I wouldn't have to worry about fiscal or creative restrictions. But to be able to do what you want to do without anything binding you down to financial reality is, really, the best job you could want. It just so happens that I'd be doing what I want to do for the rest of my life. Perhaps one possible complaint would be that nobody outside of my friends and family would see these creations, but I don't care too much about that.

So I am an eccentric prince who lives in a large, empty palace alone with exotic, magical birds who help me create these magnificent couture clothes. I design the clothes for storybook characters.
