So Last year, around September, the two girls that had been giving me too much trouble, left the workplace. One, Emily, was fired for not working, and the other Erin managed to find another job. I'm sooo happy they left. They made my life a living bad place. Though I think because of it I've managed to become a stronger person, which is good, but I would not wish that type of thing to happen to anyone. Anywho, I discovered after they left that throughout my past I had probably been pretty spoiled on good hearted people and never experienced any sort of bullying, or anyone who spent their entire day finding people or things to gossip about. So I finally got exposed to it and well, it most definitely is not wonderful. I used to think that it was easy to ignore bullying, of any kind (save physical cause well, when someone is whamming on ya, there is not much you can do save defend yourself), but after that, I realized just how hard it can be to deal with. Hopefully, anyone out there who is dealing with bullying can somehow manage to tough it out or find someone willing to listen to them and help them out. If anyone who reads this is dealing with it, o.o please feel free to pm me. I'd be glad to read your rants.
On the plus side, I got some new co-workers that I get along with much better. Though I'm pretty sure one of them is trying to push themselves ahead of me for a promotion, I have no problems really with any of them. We get along well and we can all chat like adults. Which is awesome. I still come across as a rather strange one to them but they accept it as a part of me. :3 Probably most importantly is I've accepted it as a part of me. I'm just different from the usual "normal" crowd, but that makes me, me so it's ok.
I've slowly come to figure out who I am and what not. I'm a gamer/computer nerd who loves culture and learning. Whatever I take interest in I research and find out everything I can, or at least get my brain to remember, about it. I am always on a computer. Somewhere, somehow I'll find a way to get on the net and do something. It's like a never ending hobby of mine.
I want to get a degree dealing with computers. Might as well make my favorite hobby my career. For this I actually stopped going to college again and am currently working towards finding a college that offers a bachelors in Computer Science. Which is rather difficult. I've looked everywhere and have not found anything. However I guess I cannot give up. I'm sure if I look hard enough I'll find something.
Anyways, some more good news is that My Fiance got a new job. He is now working for a Marriott Hotel down where I live. Even better knews is that his "Chef" already likes him enough to have put him next in line for a promotion! Which is great. I'm so proud of my Baby! biggrin He even got to cook for Nicholas Cage the other night, who is down here shooting a new film about the Russian mafia! biggrin It's pretty exciting. Though probably what is most exciting is that he'll be getting better paychecks. We could definitely use a little more income. Actually His birthday was yesterday and I really need to get him something. >.>''' Not sure what that will be. I'm hoping to get him a Toby Turner (Tobuscus) Shirt, but dunno what he'll want. Yes we watch and love Toby Turner! Funny guy!
Also got two dogs. One's name is Zelda, who we rescued from a shelter, and the other's name is Lady, who we picked up from someone trying to get rid of her. Both of them are very cute!
