Smiley's thoughts.
I know most people wouldn't be interested in reading this, so I'm just going to jot down a few of my thoughts here.
The Sun Can Shine Through Clouds
Time for more incoherent thoughts emotion_dealwithit

Well, so far my life has been... shall we say chaotic. Rumblings of divorce (of a sort), difficulties with finances, kids eating me out of house and home... That sort of thing. Although life can be difficult at times, what with me becoming a new found mother figure and a nanny of sorts, there seems to actually be a silver lining to this dark cloud.

My mother contacted me yesterday and decided that it's time for me to get a vehicle of my own. How I was supposed to do that with no stable income, I have no idea. Then, she presents the idea of me taking my dad's car. Now, before most people stare in confusion, I may have to explain a bit. My mother decided to surprise my dad by spending around $2,000 on an $800 car, while not showing it to him and not letting him drive it. Of course, when payments came around he was supposed to pay them. Of course, right? rolleyes So as per normal human emotion, he got a little annoyed at his so-called present. (At the moment we don't have food money while my mother is flopping around town willy nilly.)

She comes to me and says if he doesn't like it, then she will go ahead and give it to me and take the van back for herself. We only have two cars, and my dad has a stable job that he needs to get to. So if he has no car, but I have one... Seems like she was intentionally trying to strike a blow to him, so to speak.

Well... Amoungst that weirdness, my sister came up to me in all her blonde-haired-puppy-eyed wonder, and proceeds to beg me for a soda. She claims her stomach is bothering her. The girl has school tomorrow! Of course she would play sick... So I jokingly feel her forehead, saying if you're sick I'm sure we can work this out. She has a fever, and that's when I notice her face is pale and her hands are all shaky. Great. Sickness season, here we come.

I then have her lay down on the couch covered up, and she stays silent. Scary sign. While she lays there watching her big brother play minecraft to his heart's content, I whip up a batch of my special home remedy. Chicken noodle soup a la scramblings. I have no recipe, and because my brother was complaining of being sick this morning, I make enough to feed four people.

I tripled the amount of broth and ingredients by mistake... Perhaps I should have been paying more attention to the large pan that was slowly filling with warm chickeny goodness than the television where my brother was attacking creepers and whatnot.

When the food is done I realize I have a HUGE amount of food made, and wonder in horror how I can possibly fit the leftovers in the fridge. No problem. Apparently I made this batch "extra special" (according to my baby sister... gotta love her) so the kids have around three bowls each. Morgan is still laying on the couch pretending she isn't sick and INSISTING she go to school because "there really isn't a reason there should be a kid home" when I have so much work to do. Wow. So, in response to her fever and new found compassion towards me, I text my dad to pick up a small bottle of pepsi for morgan. (When we get sick, we get pepsi. Kind of like some strange perk.) He brings home two 2 liters of pepsi instead of a small can or bottle for morgan.

HE then goes on to eat a CRAP ton of my soup, and his girlfriend (I hooked them up~) eats some too. So... now I have a small amount of soup left over for my sister's day home tomorrow, but not enough to drown a small village. Point goes to me 3nodding .

I then get back on here, where I destress and chizz. I notice in my inbox a small icon saying I have a reply on my journal entry. Surprised someone actually read it, I go and read the reply. Each word made me smile brighter, and helped lift off a few pounds from my shoulders. Honestly, I really did think I was crazy and kind of useless.

Well, enough from me for now. Time to wake kidlets up.

Stop thinking your thoughts are incoherent silly ^^
Haha awww, your sister sounds adorable, it's sweet of her to want to make things easier for you by going to school instead of staying at home, and that pepsi perk is cute, in my house if either me or my brother are sick it's a free pass to have the other do things for us xD
Guess what today just proved Jaxi? You are a GREAT mom to your siblings! If you can make them feel happier when they're sick, you can do anything ^^
Also, I've been wondering, how do you pronounce your name? =O It looks lovely!

Ah, Ms. Nephilim, you make me smile. My sister is quite adorable... When I give her what she wants. xd Otherwise, believe me, she can be quite a handful. And as for the perks, it is true that we hand off chores. Unfortunately, my brother came up sick too and I forced him to go lay down, and my other sister is now at school, so for the time being I have to do their chores. Oh well, woe is me lol .

And as for me being a good mom to my siblings... I thank you for popping in at the moments where I didn't think I could be and saying I can. I hope I don't dissapoint. biggrin

Oh, my name? Jaxi is pronounced Jax-as jacks, and the i is pronounced with a long 'e' sound. So... Jacks-ee?

Aww redface I'm glad I do whee Haha aww, I can only imagine! I'm the younger one (and definitely more demanding, whoopsie D: ), though I imagine my little cousin will grow up to be all tiny and adorable ^^ Awww, so both your brother and sister are sick? That's terrible D: I hope they feel better soon! I know with your love and care there for them they should be feeling fine in a few days~
You don't need to thank me sugar, I'm glad I can help you believe in yourself ^^ You will definitely do well, and as long as you're trying you won't disappoint, so try not to worry about that as much, okay? Remember to not compare yourself to others okay? Because others aren't in your situation, and you're doing the best you can.
Ooooh pretty! I like it ^^ How'd your name come to you? It's so unique~
Ah, I won't be able to reply for a few hours, sadly it's the time I should be sleeping in >< DAMN YOU TIMEZONES! But I'll pop on during breakfast ^^ You take care Jacksee ;D

My name? Ah well... Long story lol. I had a character I drew up and wrote a short story on, Jaquellyn Montgomery. My friends said I based her completally off of me so started calling me Jackie. And lo and behold, my baby sister, who was around four at the time, came up with Jacksee. I shortened it to Jaxi, and still have it to this day. Can never trust enough to put your ACTUAL name online, now can you? stare Lovely story there.

Also, I feel your pain. Strangely enough I have been up all night and am sitting here in wonder that the clock says 7:06 A.M. So I need to retire as well. I shall talk to you again soon I hope ^ ^

Ooooh thats a nice story behind it ^^ Ahh yeah, I know what you mean, the only people who know my name on Gaia, and online in general, are the few people I've known for years and trust. Other than that, though, I always use some form of my username. Don't want to be stalked by someone o-o
Oh my, SILLY JAXI! I hope you got sleep~
