I am not speaking from a scholarly standpoint and there is very little research done on my part, but as an observer and participant in the Gaian community for... 6 years? I think longer, every time I come back from my long absences the price of items sky rockets. I remember when 1 million for an item was ridiculous and now apparently the most sought after items are those feathery alchemized wings? Unbelievable. Don't get me wrong: they're beautiful items. Goes basically with anything. I would not spend my time and money attaining them, though.
