As I trace my finger tips over my bare foot,
I realize the one thing that makes him disown me is far worse than the previous taker.
He only wants me when I'm broken, but not broken to the point of dismissal. After that I'm no good, but when I'm broken, I'm acceptable. But when I'm shattered beyond repair I'm just a lost cause.
Perhaps I'm just too messed up for anyone.
