Toughness to the Core
Somplace To Get Away

Never a dull moment, always talkin',
We take a stroll, enough to call walkin.
She looks at the boy, seeing his sorrow,
He tells her that we walk tommorow.
Done deal, ready to go, cannot wait,
Wonder if he is using her as bait?
Night arises, morning arrives,
Next day, they visit the lost lives.

Raining, grey, and dew aground,
Nobody in site, no life around.
Just him and her, walkin together,
Felt as the moment would last forever.
Headstones surrounding the different pair,
The thought of dead souls filled with dispair.
Her hand brushed up against his she left it there.
She told him how she felt and they locked in a stare.

Without the use of grammer, they talked.
With the tempo like a song, they walked.
Never had he felt this happy before,
Having someone to care, instead of hard core.
He felt secure, at all no disturbance,
She felt as if she had once, finally a chance.
The smiled as they visited the dead,
Knowing this wasn't serious, just the game's end.
