"How do you know that?"
"I tested it, on the exams we had...."
"You amplified your powers?"
"All of us..." We all looked at her. The exams were takeneach year to tell the world who was the strongest, the most graceful, and the best singer, and the best under pressure. We won respect in all catagories because of music. Then again, everyone was using music.
"So it will work?"
"As long as you don't take all day. I wasted most of my power at the sanctuary keeping the shadows out."
"Can we take a look at thier faces at least?" Mel asked.
"No! If you take thier hoods off they will wake up from the music and wipe us out!" Daw warned.
We let her manipuate the water we had. She made it sound like a violin. Our wounds healed and the shadows slowed down. We qikly made our way to our cousins and led them out.
At night fall we left the desert. Daw stopped playing the music after we got a few miles clear. I put up a shield to protect us rom the shadows.
"Sar, what happens if they find us?" Dia asked me. Dia is my little cousin, after her parents died I took care of her.
"Well, they will try to get us. But they won't get us because we will send them to Hell."
"Why don't you send them to Heaven or Purgatory?"
"Because Heaven is too nice for them and I live in Purgatory. I don't feel like seeing them everyday."
"Oh....thank you." She fell asleep in my arms. She is a red head and is really annoying at times.
The wind howls and Kat see's something moving.
"What do you see?" Bren asks.
"I'm not sure," Just then the men from our village appear. They were new, I met them when I was 15 years old.
"Hey, let us in! The shadows saw us and are following us!" ((Bryce again! THIS IS RIDICULAS!!! IS HE THE ONLY GUY THAT IS IN MY LIFE!!! anyways.....))we let them in.
"Thanks," He sits down next to me. The other guys help out with my sisters.
"Just be quiet alright."
"Okay....how've you been?"
"Good...I guess. You?"
"Fine," There was a long pause. Then all of a sudden the fire goes out and we her the shadows coming. I look around to grab Dia, but Bryce has her. He breaks her neck and then moves towards me.
I wake up, I can't move or anything.
