"Does Josie like Italian food?" He asked me before I got too far away. I turned around and he was still cooking. "And I am talking to you Sar,"
"Oh....Yeah, I gues so, why?"
"I want to make her something to say I'm sorry,"
"You must be the good one out of the bunch."
"No. Bryce is the only one thats bad, sorry."
"Thats all right. I guess." Just then Bryce appears at the other side of the room.
"Your not telling her anything bad are you?"He says to Ty.
"Only the truth," Ty says back to him.
"Why don't you go to the dining room,"Bryce tells me. And then I leave.
When I get to the dining room, there is no one there. I go to the lit fire place and watch it. I was always looking at the flames, wondering if Hell was worse than life. Especially scince life was Hell. Then the others came into the room.Josie was all smiles because Ty was making her something. She loved Italian food, especially when it was cooked for her. As we sat to eat the guys came in the room.
"This meal will be very nice," Caldin said. He sat next to Amy, who looked like she had seen hell. When Ty came out with the food we were expecting lasanga or speggetti, but not this. He set down the plates and we all saw the same things. Hearts, huge hearts not from humans. I could see all the disgusted faces of my friends and the humans with us. Really I was so hungry that I didn't care. So I took one and ate it.
"Hows it taste?" Josie asked forgetting about the guys warning.
"Like chicken," I replied. then they actually started to try it. I could tell that Bryce was pissed, but the other guys weren't.
In my mind I said: I guess I'll be getting hurt tonight, won't I.
Bryce's comment was: You all will be. We are all following the same rules. I was sopposed to do it last night.
