Bio: Reise is a childhood friend of Kisara?s. He lost both his parents in a fire at the age of 3, which he nearly survived. He spent time in the hospital recovering until he was 4, permanentaly scarred from minor wounds. He was taken in by his aunt and uncle, who loved him as their own son since they could not have children.
While he only has one faint scar from his ear to his jaw, he hides another that runs across his back. He hid himself from society until he was 8.
He met Kisara, 6 years old, a year after she had moved to the town, she was his only friend for the time being. Reise slowely began to open up. He was like Kisara when she had first arrived, keeping himself bottled up, but he opened up faster than Kisara.
Reise would get involved in fights with bullies, sometimes he would join in their groups despite Kisara?s dislike for it. One day when he was picking on a lowerclassman, Kisara stepped in and slapped Reise across the face. She told him what he did was wrong, but it still didn?t stop him from ganging up on other kids. Well the slap had convinced him to tone down a notch.
On his 10th birthday, he received a friendship bracelet from Kisara, and they promised to always be friends. Reise was somewhat like a brother to Kisara. He looked out for her and warded off those who wanted to pick on her.
Now 12, Kisara dragged him off to the church to meet Hizumi. Reise, isn?t a big fan of god and such, he blames god for taking his parents and leaving him scarred.
Reise met Hizumi, at first he showed a bitter distrust in him, but soon began to see the good person in him.
He began attending church with Kisara not for religeon, but to be with his friends. He never took any interest in god, though he did find the structure of the church impressive. Often times he lost Kisara and could not find her, mainly because she was within the garden few knew about.
When he was 15, he began to notice the constant blushing Kisara did around Hizumi. He found this amusing, thinking it was all in his head until he put the pieces together. He realized now that Kisara had feelings for Hizumi, but he kept his mouth shut in the matter.
Why would Kisara have feelings for someone that was too old her her? Not only that, why had Hizumi?s appearance never changed? Questions Reise wanted were not answered.
As he continued to live in the dark of Kisara?s little interests in Hizumi, he began to feel somewhat agitated.
Why was he feeling this way? What was causing these inner outbursts?
Was it jealousy? He knew Kisara only saw him as a brother and friend, but wished for more.
At 17, Reise was hospitalized again. The fire from long ago had damaged his lungs, the effects of it returned. While they were not minor, he needed to be monitored if anything were to happen.
Kisara visited him and stood by his side some nights. She was worried sick, and he couldn?t speak for the time being. He felt defeated, he wanted to tell her so much. He once again cursed god for the fire, for taking his parents, and for putting him in this position. Still, her presence made him feel better, soon he would be back on his feet.
One night as he lay in bed, a dark presence entered his mind, feeling his life grow short. The darkness spoke into his mind, offering him a proposal. Reise felt he was losing himself within his mind, until he woke up again. He felt it was a dream, but told no one about it.
Now out of the hospital and feeling well, he visited Kisara at the church, only to see her with Hizumi. Reise's temper began to rise again, but he hid it. He felt beaten by Hizumi, not understanding how he truly felt. Kisara was releived to see him well again, the bracelet still on his wrist. Reise cared very much for her, but he couldn't find the words to express them to her. and while he was feeling better, he was still physically weak.
That night, he dissappeared.
Reise's heart filled itself with darkness as he stood alone within his room, his eyes blank. A dark aura seemed to swirl around him, speaking in silent whispers as he dissappeared, whisked away to the castle of darkness as he accepted the invitation.
Reise generally has a short temper, but often times he is cool and collected. He has a habit of saying untrue things about people, and letting his power get the best of him. He is loyal to Niya, but at times decides to make his own agenda of plans. He thinks indifferently of Ruka but does not bother to speak to him unless he feels like it. He has issues with Kisara and Hizumi's relationship, often leading to showing his jealousy. His power is manifested from his anger and jealousy, and because this is so great, he is forced to be sealed, only allowed freedom when he is needed.
