It's about time I wrote some of this stuff out, methinks...

Name: Klara Larisma

Other names: Klara Decker (she was married to Bolt for a while, after all)

Gender: Very female.

Age: 24

Race: Human/diety

Appearance: Klara is around 5' 6" and generally maintains a healthy physique. Born completely human in every way, her physical features are fairly generic. Her facial features and pleasant as most young womens' are, but anything specifically striking about her comes from her actions and personality. She changes her hair style/color often, and doesn't have a signature "outfit" as some gaians do.

Personality: Though she is both emotionally stable and optimistic, Klara is not naive. She is level headed but enjoys life with a vigor that many find difficult to achieve. She is quick to forgive and rarely holds a grudge. She tries to see every situation as objectively as she can. Early on in her life she realized that the world was a dark, terrible place - but that it was easy to make the best of every situation. She instinctually looks for ways to help other people, and sometimes this manifests itself in shy avoidance, since not getting in someone's way is sometimes the only way she can see to help them. Being a capable young gaian, Klara is interested in culture very much. She enjoys magazines and tabloids, as well as attending concerts and going to art galleries.

Weapons: Klara aquired (it'll turn up again eventually, I'm sure - the GPD might have it) a b*****d sword upon moving to Barton town. She is also proficient with most firearms.

Powers/Abilities: Klara was granted the powers that made her a diety of electricity, and those powers eventually killed her (though she remained "immortal" wink . A few years after she died, she was "brought back to life" by a young scientist doing a strange experiment. Her powers are the same, if not more intense. She can generate electricity, absorb electricity, control the direction electricity flows, explain electricity at a collegiate level, etc. etc. (Has anyone seen Big Trouble In Little China? I imagine Klara might be able to use lightning as a fireman's pole a la the "Lightning" character, ha ha.)

Other Skills: Klara makes a mean cabbage salad. The only A+ she got in highschool was in home ec.

Strengths: If it uses protons and electrons in any capacity, she can manipulate its ability to function. This includes herself; she can increase the speed at which her brain sends electrical signals to her body (twitch).

Weaknesses: Her powers were too much for her merely human body before, and now that she's back, who knows if the powers might prove to once again be too intense. She is also very timid in using her powers and at times may hold back to a detrimental degree. Also, she rarely becomes passionate about causes or individual fights and battles, and if the going gets tough, Klara immidiately tries to think of a way to "get out of it" by convincing herself it's not worth it, etc.

History: Klara had a brilliant childhood, adolescence and young adulthood (the rest has been pretty brilliant, as well).

After gaining a traditional college education in Art and Psychology, she moved to Barton Town with Glum, a friend of Klara's since they were both very young. They opened a thrift store, which was semi-successful but did eventually close (who knows, it may re-open someday). Glum married Jack the Lad and they had one child - making Klara somewhat of an aunt. Klara married Bolt (Jon Illias (aka Big Jonno) gave her away at their wedding (the only reason I mention this is that for some reason Jon was my favorite gaian and I feel like he should be in here somewhere)), the commissioner of the GPD, and they lived very happily until Klara died.

Klara's spirit/diety essence was ushered into a sort of limbo dimension. Klara has no memory of what happened to her there - and won't, until I come up with something clever.

A young inventor/scientist named Basile Fournier built an "angel catcher" machine and on it's first test run, it yanked Klara out of the alternate dimension and pulled her back into Gaia. Some of her memories and emotional attatchments were completely wiped from her mind before or during the process of "coming back", but for the most part she is the same Klara.
