the ending is so sad!! i just finished reading the ending to zettai kareshi [absolute boyfriend] by yuu watase, and *spoiler* you have been warned. so at the ending night *sobs* i cant say it!! after he truly became riiko's boyfriend, he stopped working. the hardware inside of him stopped. he looked fine on the outside, but on the inside, he wasn't fine. but he still truly loved her until the end, because he wanted to make sure that she was okay. the day before, he had sent soushi a letter, and his matching ring that riiko also has one. he wrote:
to soshi
ive told gaku-san to send out this letter and ring when riiko calms down. when the time comes that you will recieve this letter, i will not be here anymore, so everything is counting on you. i just want you to help me say something to riiko. dont cry anymore
heart the ending was realistic though, quite satisfying, and, i finished it in three and a half hours!! the entire series!! all wonderful 32 chapters of it 3nodding *sighs* im a very happy girl right now.
but personaly, i really feel for soshi because i mean, if he had just realized his true feelings for his childhood friend, then he would probably be together with riiko right now. i dont know if he would have made riiko as happy as night made her, but the thing is, she had always counted on him. maybe before she met night, she was in love with soshi. but because they had known each other for since forever, it was harder to believe and to realize she had actually fallen in love with her friend. but reall, how many relationships just all of a sudden start? like, one person says that they like the other person, so would the other person just say yes, not knowing anything about the other person? for all they know about that person, that person actually hates them and intends on murdering them. sweatdrop okay im babbling now... sweatdrop ngh mightaswell go so sleeeeeeeeeeeepp *cough*noonetellkil3r0dagzariwasupthislateitscurrently12:32ambutnooneknows*cough*
