Raising my left hand to feel between my eyes, I realized that I could see out of my left eye, the same eye that had been covered by the eye patch. "Draco's scales..."

Turning to look at the counter, I saw one of Ikkit's experiments had been knocked over by Slinky. Reaching back into my memory, I realized that it was a regeneration experiment that used electricity to help combat magic in magical injuries.

"Um...Dragon? Your chain headdress...thing...is creeping me out."

"Slinky, it's name is Slinky," I replied turning to face Nogard. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw metallic movement. Turning my full attention to it, I saw the ends of Slinky were busy exploring a couple of drawers in the counter. Upon hearing their name, the ends of Slinky pulled themselves free of the drawers and spun around to look at me. "Draco's scales..."

Suddenly, several Dylos swarmed into my lab fully armed. "Surrender yourselves or die!"

"Did you catch that?" "I don't speak Dylos." "Are you feeling a good old fashioned brawl." "Well, they don't have guns." "Let's have at em then." "Aye...and try not to wreck the lab; Ikkit would kill me."

Transforming, Nogard and I stopped our transformations when we were in our draconic anthro forms (approximately half way) so that way we could use our full dragon strengths and powers yet be able to move easily. Fire and ice balls were slung like crazy while blades, bats, whips, and chains sliced through the air just as ferociously.

Rolling over a counter, I saw a dying Dylos chucking his sword towards Nogard's turned back. However before I could react, Slinky's chain ends shot out and caught the sword and throw it back at the Dylos. "Good...Slinky."

After about a half hour of fighting with more and more Dylos swarming into the destroyed lab--Ikkit is SO going to kill me...--that the battle slowly came to an end with less and less Dylos appearing.

Standing back to back with Nogard, I could tell she was breathing as hard as I was. "Nearly done."

"Ayuh," Nogard said. Hearing the grin in her voice, she said, "You've gotten lazy. You're out of breath."

"No more than you," I replied, grinning.

As the final few Dylos rushed forward, everything suddenly went dark.
