Here I am-
Here I am standing before you,
And yet you do not speak to me,
You do not listen to me,
You do not even look at me,

I want to scream,
And yet I am silent,
I wish to run and weep beneath a willow tree,
And yet I cannot move and my eyes are dry,

I cannot understand why you ignore me,
Like I am not even here,
Like I am nonexistent,
Like I never will be,

Speak to me,
Listen to me,
Watch me,
And maybe we can fix what has gone wrong.
