Damn, it's been a long time since I've been on here, a few months to be exact. But it's been five plus years since I've written a journal. much has happened since then... my parents are on oxygen and go to therapy for it, my uncle in Jamaica had a brain tumor that paralyzed the right side of his body and almost killed him (he's doing better now and even called today as his birthday's on the 28th) but it took his sight, my nephew is a teenage and my neice is a senior in high school, and just recently, two deaths came in the family. But it's october, and that means Halloween time on Gaia, so I'll be rocking a mixture of old Halloween gear from the past and building up my loot for stuff and grabbing this year's jack threads.

I still do taxes, but... working in taxes this year just doesn't help you survive like it did in the years back. plus, in light of handling my business in the most effecient and accurate way possible, it seems like I'm still getting nowhere. Unless you get hurt on the job, kiss a**, are a bum off the street with no job experience whatsoever (you wouldn't believe how pissed I was when I found out that one lead got that job), or have a family member in a higher spot in there to get you in, there's no such thing as getting promoted. And when I spoke to a former boss, he mentioned that all my time in there was seen as time that doesn't count. I can't live off of working the tax beat anymore, so it's time for me to consider something else... preferably something that doesn't have me waking up and 4 a.m. because that s**t is horrible.
