than knowing there is no home for you.

and even though they love you deeply,
they just don't feel like family.

than realizing you were destined to be on this earth alone

because nobody can quiet the monsters in your head,
the ones who tell you you're better off dead.

i've been walking on these train tracks for hours now,
waiting for a train to come crashing into me.

relieve me from this torment of my own mind,
i've tried to be strong, but i'm lacking.

keep pushing for a better tomorrow,
but even that tomorrow i will be on my own.
