All county tryouts were yesterday for chorus. I had to be at school by 8:15 because we had to schedule early due to the Semi-formal at 7 to make sure we all got done. It was about a half an hour trip from Sandy Creek to Mexico, NY and it was wicked bumpy. (it hurt...)
Anyway, I'm not too sure how I did...I hope I did well but on the soprano voice check thingy I don't think I went as I has I usually can and I don't think I was loud enough either. I squeaked at the highest note and I'm sure I just about broke the four judges and my teacher's ear drums or something. *sigh* I guess I gotta work on that.
Around 2:30 I went over to Sam's house to get ready for her surprise bday party. It was weird being at her house before she was even there because she spent the night at Kat's house. She didn't even WONDER about her party and she had even started to make plans for when she got home. She was telling us all about her plans for Saturday at lunch of Friday and when she went to go dump her tray, me and Katey just turned the other way and started laughing because we knew she'd only have like, two hours to get ready to go to the dance.
It was awesome though. The first thing she said when she walked in was "What's the cleanness and food?"
Me, Kelsey, and the other Katey were all hiding in the other room when she came in and she walked into the room and started freaking out. I swear she was about to cry and that made me happy. ^_^ She loved her cake too. Aaron's mom Charrie made it because she does cakes professionally and we got her to put an edible image of Sesshomaru on it. ^_^ Sam adores Sesshomaru and she almost cried when she opened the box. It was priceless.
Later she opened presents and she even got a Sesshomaru plushie that Katie got her from Hot Topic. She freaked out over that too. I was actually surprised to find that the plushie was missing an arm just like the 'real' Sesshomaru. ^_^ It was an awesome day but needless to say, it's left me awfully tired.
