It's been a few days since i wrote in my journal, really need to stick to the program with these things. BUT I HAVE SOME AWESOME UPDATES FOR DISCOVERIES! what should i say first? I guess my favorite boys will have to go first since i'm still boarded on the ship with them.
Talk about a lucky break running into Nicolae and Cresento in Barton! out of all the places i would've expected that was a first in a really long time since Nicolae isn't in the area anymore. (Really like what Lex did to the place though.) Apparently onto what i heard anyway was Nicolae trying to gain back his shop by Lex (even giving the money up front) it felt so out of place of him doing such but it occurred to me that he was trying to buy back his Pony, i believe her name was Capella? Sassy one she is (chuck is even nervous around her honestly it's something to laugh at.) but after all she has been with Nicolae for so long who could blame him for wanting her back? Just uh... my biggest question where would he even put her in the ship?
After tirelessly negotiating with Lex he grew somewhat annoyed and ended up walking off to the Barton bar, which me and Cresento followed inside i never realized how many locals reside here that are either customers of mine or i see them in the Dref durian streets that's Barton for you i guess. We sat down around the barrels and ordered a few drinks and just started talking about alchemy. I'm surprised at Cresento's knowledge of Alchemy at times he just started as a Novice but yet Nicolae bloomed him into an expert. There's so many different kinda of Alchemy out there some are forbidden or just forgotten, I do have one thing that bothers me though about Cresento though.
His knowledge for Elven Alchemy is pretty much little to nothing but then again.. it could just be because the Halfling blood that resides in him. I figured it out one day when we did an Alchemy test together and it spoke for itself, just by the color changing and even the noises a usual alchemy sound would make the cloud even from Nicolae and Cresento always had somewhat of a tint to it.
Anyway us talking in that bar seems like it gave me a lucky break for a rare yet mysterious item called Bahamut's Bone it's from a Dragon like creature.. that im not very sure it's actual origin's are from but, I decided to stay with Cresento for any of his reading material on it stories, folktales anything that will me helpful or useful to me in he time of me trying to gain this item. I should try hitting the books to gain some information soon, hopefully i'll have a better understanding to this creature.. monster..thing?
