Well, let's start with Tuesday. I helped my mom with this hotel she's working on (she's an interior designer) by helping move in furtniture and such with the installers. I hated standing outside in the heat, but once we got inside it wasn't bad. I worked the next day too. Here's where it get interesting...
Me and my brother were taking a cart back down to load up more stuff, and we get in the elevator. A few seconds after the door shuts, the lights flicker and the elevator completely shuts down. Here I am freaking out, thinking we're going to suffocate and use up all the air and die. I started screaming and pressing the alarm button and breathing heavy. I got really lightheaded. I swear, if I were to stay in there for another minute, I would have thrown up. No joke.
To put that in short, I hyperventilated. But what seemed like 5 to 10 minutes was actually two, and we got out safely. Though it did make quite a story around the whole hotel the rest of the day. What an adventure. But at least I was getting $10 an hour. sweatdrop
The next day, I stayed home and made pound cake! 3nodding
And now, I'm at my Dad's house until Monday night.
